SNECMA provides fan blades for a lot of engines.
IF GE and SNECMA get onto the MCA engine case that would be excellent since it would mean a engine with most probably high effiency the most of the same weight and also high thrust to weight ratio for the plane. This would depend on weather they can make composites fan blades ala GE90/GENx for the MCA engines.
Very true but the British dont go in like Custers Cavelry the tactics are completely different , the fleet is also a lot smaller then the US’s.
based on my experience in making paper planes.
I think that if canon had not brought out the 350D i would have been happier and the LCA would have flown on.
It doesnt matter what happens now its too late and even if it is not completed like a LOT of us have been saying its the tech knowledge that India has build up and even managed to use in other areas that matters because before this India had virtually nothing! (i dont consider making panels under a TOT a advancement ).
Oki so this means (even if the LCA goes into full production and India buys 200 LCA) that Indias Aviation industry is surviving (NOT) excelling. but it would either way be a step forward and one which India needs to take.
out of the total of 4 hours i was their for the two days..
i think the most impressive was the Su-27! everything else its just boring.
F/A-18 was also boring.. EFA and Rafale did some nice displace but compared to the Su-27 they were sad .
ooh the hour or so display by the blimp on the thursday was a great idea! but i have to wonder where the guy with the pea shooter went to shoot it down! wednesday it was bad and rainy they stick a Su-27 display thursday it was nice and sunny and they stick a bloomin blimp up!
if these were true what would it matter ?? so india makes 100 instead of 200
euuww fingers are yellow.. stupid chenne..
Why the thread? the USN air wing prob is under contraints but it prob still has a higher budger then most of the countries its going to bomb.
Keep insulting other won’t make you own country better, rather looks ugly.
I am not insulting you! i will delete parts of my text since u think it is an insult, but you should have been able to think for yourself as to why it would NOT benifit Russia to set up a infrastructure in China.
I think you guys are overreact and misunderstanding from my posts.
Russia has asked China to join the project, but China turned it down. It does not meant China is more capable than India, it is simply China wanted to try itself, and it does not wanted the whole project is controlled by another country.
I think this was resulted from recent China weapons procurement from Russia, which is tightly controlled and dispointed of low tech transfer(hiding the latest tech).
I am fustrated more then anything and i dont care if India is better then China or not for this thread. It was your insessent questions and your inability to think as to the reason why it would not be in Russias best interest knowing the Chinese aerospace fraternity love to Pirate as much techonology as they can.
[QUOTE=JohnWoo
The fact is Russia has asked China, and you still can’t explain why.[/QUOTE]
I dont need to Explain Why! Sukhoi cannot build the fighter on its own money and needed some one to Bankroll it. This does NOT mean that it is in RUSSIAS best INTEREST to work with the Chinese
But you can’t seems to explain why Russia is asking China to joint the project.
All you can say is India is better than China in material and know how, but can’t back up your claim.
Simple fact that none of the advance materials producing nations can export mil standard fibres and even relatively old resin systems to china due to embargos, and military secrets act in the west means that while china maybe be able to produce panels for things like the A380 it doesnt have the skilled labour force nor the IMPORTANT MATERIALS needed for something like the PAK-FA.
Whereas India does NOT have these Embargos and so can import the important raw materials needed for the next generation aircraft..
And following on from that, it would not be in Russia’s interest to have China in as a partner pulling them behind in a race they are already behind in.
Russia would have to train a Chinese work force, build material factories and help China setup the neaded infrastructure. And this in turn would doubly hurt Russia as the return for all this will be a China that will be pirating more Russian techonology using prison/low payed labour to produce parts and under cutting the Russians in the future. And in effect posing a greater threat to Russia.
And the Russians have stated when the PAK-FA may fly why dont you just wait 🙂
I went home and threw away my books on flight dynamics and aircraft stability after i saw the Su-27 flight.
u people dont know that china is workin on a millinon dollar project which is known as jxx which is a copy of f 22 raptor these fighter will be enter i plaa in 2009 scheduled when they want to sell it they will sell it to pakistan to counter any plane in the worl with stealth even indian tejas, su 37 , or may be f35 cannot catch it
China is not even close to making the F-22, if they are lucky they will be able to make something that is close to the F/A-18 (not the sub-par hornet). Please get over the dreams!
As for me being contradicted, not really. I said it would not be in Russia’s best interest to work with the Chinese that is and will be true for some years to come!
At this moment India can offer a bit more then China in terms of materials and know how.
To be honest its not really in Russia interest to co-operate at all with China
lol ! erm what help would china give Russia ???
Airbus A380 and the new A340-600 or what ever it is.. uggliest thing in the world
oh and the A-10 (but its better ugly!)
