The Typhoon and Rafale aren’t as stealthy as the F-117 let alone the F/A-22 and F-35. So in answer to your question no they can’t build a stealth combat aircraft today or they would. That’s not to say that with a decade’s research they couldn’t pull it off eventually but as of today they cannot.

I wonder how they can came up with the 1100 flights needed to make it operational. From what i thought a aircraft is good to fly if all the systems on the aircraft have been audited/checked out and meet with regulations. Their would be no reason to do 1100 flights when more than one system/concept/procedure/flight pattern can be checked per flight.

is their even an advantage?

I wonder if this to do with some US position to place ABM’s in key locations close to possible hostile countries so that the missiles are first picked up and targetted at some distance away from the US. Also i also wonder if this has something to do with India backing the US on the ABM in a quite way.

Well, I find Super-Hornet demos the most interesting out of US fighters (F-15, F-16 are quite boring). Lame Duck? Well, from the pics I’ve seen, she carried 6 AMRAAMs during the demo, Correct??

I couldnt see we didnt have time to make it that close to the flightline because we had to leave early to allow for disorganisation at the show

I couldnt tell because i was hiding from the rain in a information kiosk (it was raining heavily on wednesday), but it started of a high alpha (by western standards gets put to shame by the Russians) and i think the afterburners were on when it just about stoped moving. That is another difference between the Russians and westerns jets, the russians high alphas can be done on idle while the western ones seem always to be on afterburn

Can’t be better than the Su-35/37, MKI demos…….I have quite a few Flanker videos.

Prob not as good as the TV versions of demos but not far from being amazing we still toast to the Sukhoi at each drink. oki it didnt do the 180 flip but it still did an amazing show, the Rafale EFA F18 all were boring in comparison
