Why do you have a map of India with its industries? I can understand IPCL but GFSC isnt that a fertilizer company? Excuse my ignorance but the last time I checked Gujurat Fertilisers was doing research in Genetic modification (the last time i checked) and they produce wonderful YELLOW WATERMELONS instead of the red but that still does not come close to AVIATION.

Didnt they do a flight or something with the 101 and found that its safty margin is a lot better then anything else ? They are testing it for presidentian operations or something arent they?

i think had they been given an oppaturnity sukhoi would have been drooling over it as well..something like 45 bill development and estimated 200 bill procurment over 3 decades.

One can only dream of what Sukhoi or Mig could come up with if they were given this kind of money..

They will start assembling much complexer fighters like MKI.

you mean “much more complex fighters” dont you? instead of complexer? and you do mean much more capable then complex dont you? since the electronics in the MKI are bought partly over from the LCA and Materials wise the LCA is a bit more Advance then the Su-30’s

Do they need a plane that is late and not the latest? The LCA has profitted a lot from open markets (western technology) but I don’t think they should go on but lift with a newer model with Russia.

even as a low tech (low high tech combination) I would serious think twice. Why just getting it into service? Just for the pride?

As a Low tech fighter in a high lo combination it would do very badly since its not that much lower tech then the Su-30’s again apart from the radar most of the avionic back bones are the same.
