It does matter! The stresses would still be higher.

I dont think solid state electronics are that sensitive, iirc i read a report some time back talking about replacing conventional materials in the satelite electronic housing with composites, and it quoted a figure around 20g’s+ due to vibrations during lift off.. The goalkeeper would produce no where near the same amount. still the gun of the A-10 in a IR/Radar guided system on the sides of the Awacs with 180 degree arc that would do nicely! 🙂

yeah, but surely not as much as 300+ passengers with their baggage.;) the radom might cause problems areadynamically, but it shouldnt effect the manoverability of the plane that much.

You must have some a new design of aircraft because most comercial airlines according to JAR-25 have a G loading of about 1.5 G’s. That also being the EU requirement while the US is less.

This missile should be large enough to shoot down, i say put a Goal Keeper on the back of a AWACS! 🙂

Erm USSR is gone but the US knows it would need a AC like the F/A 22 in any future major conflicts. I am not talking about the GREEN MACHINE here either.

Any one got range figures for the F-35 and the F/A- 22 ? without externat fuel loads or refueling please.

Wouldnt matter, If it was notar then shooting a whole in the notar system itself would prob cause control problems.
