    Nothing new or ground breaking but for those people who are interested in what composite materials can offer

    Suprisingly it claims that the JSF composite content is 35percent, most prob due to mission profile of the aircraft and the need for extra lift duct..

    The Organisation of Islamic Countries will do absolutely nothing.

    They will talk retoric, and call the Syrians Brothers and lodge a minimal puppet protest in the UN. nothing else. Unless their own interest are threatenened i think they like the rest of the world would rather avoid conflict.

    wouldnt an attack on Iranian rockets mean decleration of war with IRAN also? Sounds like an expensive poker game.

    do you have sources for this statement?

    I do not agree, and i politely turn down your claims.

    P.s.

    GRRR

    I was reading a commans debate associated with this, and it was also published in a article recently in the times. He BLantantly said that although he would “restructure” the army he was not going to disband Historical Corps or parts of the army.

    What would you say to the media attention given to UAV shootdowns in recent conflicts?

    I have always found it over the top, i do not think its even news worthy but then again you see it on CNN or the BBC so something must be fuelling this.

    I believe that a predator with one or even two man pads, would be a very effective Attack helicopter killer.

    Could there be a role for UAV’s in CAS?

    I wasnt really sure about using pow wow..lol..i thought it was a water company..

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Today there are some 50 U.S. companies, academic institutions, and government organizations developing over 150 UAV designs. Forty of these companies have some 115 of these designs flying, i.e., at least one working prototype built. Fifteen of these companies have 26 models of UAVs in, or ready for, production. The Overview table serves as the table of contents for this section, listing these companies and categorizing each of their UAVs into one of seven classes:
    Tactical – the catch-all for the ubiquitous 50 to 1000 lb deployable air vehicle;
    Endurance – capable of extended duration flight, typically 24 hrs or greater;
    Vertical Takeoff & Landing (VTOL) – self explanatory, typically rotary wing;
    Man Portable – light enough to be back-packed by an individual and launched by hand-throwing or sling-shot mechanism, larger than micro air vehicles;
    Optionally Piloted Vehicle (OPV) – capable of manned or unmanned flight operations, typically an adaptation of a general aviation aircraft;
    Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) – defined as having no dimension larger than 15 cm (6 in);
    Research – developed for specific investigations, typically with no production intent.
    In addition, each UAV is coded to indicate its status:
    Production (bold print) – in (COTS) or ready for (NDI) production
    Developmental (standard print) – at least one prototype has flown
    Conceptual (italics) – prototype has yet to fly
    Research – one/few examples built to demonstrate technology
    By clicking on any company’s name, you will link to that company’s dossier under Vendors, or on any UAV’s name to that vehicle’s description in this section.
