Ah, I see Broncho’s back, and still slagging off Western aircraft.
How is the anti-Western crusade going these days mate?
Still not letting facts get in the way of a good tirade I see,
Unnicorn
what tirade ?? The F-18 is junk, if IAC had CATS rafale would be my first choice but thats not going to happen. MRCA is totally different from naval contract for carriers, why are people mixing the two is beyond me.
The mig29k is meant for both vik and IAC. No matter what, F-18(garbage) or rafale cannot take off without cats. So mig29k is the only choice other than N-LCAfor now.
Hmmm obviously screws being tightened on Iran but Israel might be wary.
Thats the whole point.
1) Iran will only get Su-30’s with all russian avionics. France, Israel or India will not comply.
2) Iran will not buy 250 su-30’s. The number seems to large for them to afford or maintain. Su-30 would be ideal to replace F-14’s, maybe 100-150 would be a good amount.
Yeah right!! Like france will allow sales to Iran?  . Why not offer them rafales also.
Says Times of Islamabad of course 😉 😉
Never heard this news? Any sources?

OH LOL a chinki preaching about racism!!! Well hypocrisy knows no bound. Poor Uighurs, tibetians a non han chinese.
Yes Israel has so many industries Indian engineers would want to go and work for :rotfl: :rotfl: Looks like chinks are in serious denial of yehudi-yindoo axis 😀
Yeah right?? Indian scientists and engineers are working in Israel for kosher food. I guess the Barak-NG and ER are just side business. :diablo:

NEW DELHI: India and the US are close to signing an agreement under which their armed forces will provide each other logistics support on a reciprocal basis even as New Delhi may bid to buy another American amphibious warship.
A logistics support agreement is in the final stages, said top Pentagon officials now on a visit to the country. They also said that Washington had offered the giant landing ship, USS Nashwill, to the Indian Navy.
“We have put the offer to the Indian Navy,” Lt Gen Jeffrey B Kohler, director of the Defence Security Cooperation Agency in the US defence department told reporters. The amphibious warship is of the same class as the 17,000-tonne USS Trenton that was bought by the Indian Navy.
Referring to the logistics support agreement, Kohler said the accord had been put up to the Cabinet Committee on Security. The Americans usually describe such a pact as an “acquisition and cross-services” agreement.
I wouldn’t be surprised if in say 10-15 years Japan and Soko both decide to have an aircraft carrier.
One important requirement was the plane be single seater (to reduce the number of pilots needed). I would say 100 Su-35 (MKIzed) should be enough. LCA is meant to be additional and has to replace 200 odd Mig-21’s.

Indian submarine armed with N-warhead
New Delhi: India has declared itself capable of launching a nuclear missile from a submarine and has announced that a submarine-based cruise missile Sagarika has been developed and tested successfully.
With the induction of Sagarika, India has completed the triad of India’s nuclear weapons delivery systems.
This was made known at a Defence Research and Development Organisation function in New Delhi on Saturday where the team responsible for the development of the Sagarika was felicitated.
Sagarika has already been tested successfully three times and completes the third leg of the strategic triad giving India the capability to launch missiles from land, air and now from under the sea.
Submarine-based nuclear missile are considered the most reliable for the fact that a submarine travels mostly under the sea and is hence extremely difficult to detect.
Sources say the Sagarika has a range of 1,000 km and has been accepted for induction by the Navy.
The missile is likely to be installed on the Advanced Technology Vessel (ATV). ATV is the indigenous nuclear-powered submarine that is expected to be launched next year.
A preliminary artists concept:

Hope this answers the question.
