    Yes. Watch closely at 0:43-47

Yes, I noticed it too. Nobody enjoys competition/loosing his monopoly. Arrogance is at serious surplus over there. I couldn’t imagine what would happen when the PAK-FA would actually become operational… Some people might actually turn to alcohol/drugs :diablo:

Thanks very much. To Roylarson too. 🙂

LOL! I were thinking the same. As for when it becomes fully operational, I can’t wait I must say. And…Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t LM and its loyal ‘fan-boys’ mention something about the F-22 not being matched or even close to it for the next zllion years not so long ago, or something along those lines?…I bet they’re denying that one now aren’t they. :diablo:

Woah! Thats quite a looker & I think its been worth the wait, nice one to the chaps in Russia, proper job. can’t wait to see it in its operation colours, whatever they may be.

Pardon my ignorance, but, are those ‘All Moving’ tail fins?

P.S. Can see the “VS” threads working over time now…Especially on f-16.net…And they don’t seem to approve “non American” types over there…Should be interesting if a little sad.

I’ve been away for quite a while and have lost all counts of whats happened on this forum, but about the Typhoon vs Rafale vs F-22 etc, I’ve been to Dubai while, I think so anyway, these exercises were taking place…Although I never heard much about them, if anything…had more better things to do, but, just my 2 pennies worth, if a particular fighter does better than another, say “X beat X 7-1″ or whatever, its not wise to say-or along the lines of; ” HAHA my fav fighter beat yours now whos the daddy now?”, you have to take into account that these type of exercises have so many different scenarios, like for example; You fly in a straight line at such knots at such heights and my wingman and myself will engage at such and such heights, knots and at a certain point you have to break off and try to get on one of six’s without one us on yours etc etc etc blah blah blah….Or whatever is planned. At the end of the day a lot of these types of exercises are for the GOOD for both sides cause its just training, finding out ones weaknesses is just as important as finding out strongest points.

I’ve developed asthma in the meantime ! 😀

I’ve been to Dubai for two weeks, flew from there to Japan where I spent just under two months, then back to Dubai for a short while, all time spent with my beloved girlfriend, why Dubai I hear you say? Well thats where she’s from, and that period of time was VERY VERY ruddy interesting, especially in Japan, since neither of us speak a word of Japanese, but the greatest time ever…apart from getting a little sun stroke in Dubai, puking my guts up in Japan, fell down a small flight of stairs while tempting a skateboard move which went very wrong, not funny although my beloved little gothic DubaiARIAN found it hilarious, tee hee hee! Many-many other wonderful things happened, too much to mention, although after arriving back in jolly old England I discovered my PC is broken, (No idea whats up with the frikin thing), and someone (B*****D) had bought that very rare Gibson guitar from the guitar shop I work in…And while all that has happened…Not a frikin word about the PAK-FA….Typical! 😀

    Cool, Richard Gray. 😉

@ woodbridge10, as in North East, you mean around the Newcastle area, yeah? Usualy see quite a lot of activity of military aviation up this way.

About two weeks ago, after coming back from Dubai with my girlfriend who lives there into Newcastle and after gong around twon for a bit, we decided to come home and at the bottom of my street theres a small field and at the bottom of that theres a BMW dealership & we were walking up from there when all of a sudden a British Army Lynx helicopter flew VERY low over us & landed behind the BWM dealership and about 30 seconds later another came flying also VERY low away from us and landed in the same place. Was a very interesting site I must say & quite unusual to land next to a BMW dealership, maybe the pilots got paid that day. lol

Explain what you were saying then. I’m just a dumb American, I can use all the help I can get right?

Right. The clue is in my earlier post.

Yeah, that’s why you quoted me.

Yeah well, like I say, you didn’t quite get what I was saying. But very well done on spotting that I quoted you anyways. You win second prize! :diablo: 😉

I’m sure that in few years or so there will be Mr Ferrin telling us we’d all be speaking IraqiAfghani if it wasn’t for the US..:dev2:

Or, Argentine…Or maybe even Irish. lol :diablo:

    1. not a chance and you probably know it.
    2. maybe

Also. Ironic, when America “was born” (if you want to put it that way) they had two choices for their language, English or German, obviously they speak English, or try to anyway but its quite funny how they say “if it weren’t for us you’d be speaking German”…Some funny things in life ain’t there. 😀 :diablo:

    Anyways…

“WVR being what it is likely EVERYBODY would end up with one or two of them.”

Which part of that sailed over your head?

You didn’t get what I was saying, so something went over your head, clearly. But no matter, I wasn’t really replying to what you said anyway… 😀

My guess is nobody wants pictures released with a pipper on them and WVR being what it is likely EVERYBODY would end up with one or two of them. Wouldn’t matter if the F-22 scored 100 to 1 against the Typhoon, if that one pic of the Typhoon’s pipper on the F-22 got out guess what we’d be seeing on every Typhoon fanboy topic and European magazine for the next ten years as evidence of the Typhoons “unquestioned superiority”?

Like wise for your uber toy…

Hmmm if only some people really knew/know what happened…All I got to say! hehe 😀

sounds daft but surely we should do national service in the UK i am a couch potato but i think if the country needs it they should be able to call me up for all my bad points and make use of me some ways.. cooking curry or something lol

Doesn’t sound daft at all. We should bring back national service, it never done anyone harm when we did have it, plus, if it were back now, get those little moron gangsta wannabe chavs that think they’re “propa’ ard me like” off the street & see how it is to be PROPER HARD, let them go up to a Royal Marine or if they’re feeling more stupid than normal, an SAS guy & tell him how a hard little chav he is…He’ll be having his curry & chips through a straw for 7 months. lol

Just my 2 British pennies worth. 😀

May I have the PM myself also,

    regards.

And for me too, please? Would be very grateful. 🙂

P.S. Jackonicko, remember when we had that discussion about the Tornado GR4 carrying Brimestone and LGB’s at the same time via PM? Well I found one or two pictures. They’re in AirForces Monthly magazine, had a little luck today and indeed they do carry that particular load at once. Just thought i’d let you know about that, if you already haven’t seen it. 🙂 (Sorry for off-topic)

When I do the inverted pass I push the nose up to come round the corner and I go from -2 to +9 in less than a second, so that’s an 11g change in that time.

    Ruddy nora!!! 😮
