Only the UK [MoD] would scrap a perfectly capable and modern batch of fighters… Only the UK… Logic means something, can’t, quite… think what.
“Refugees” don’t leave an unstable and threatening country for a safe and secure one (Turkey) where there’s adequate shelter, medical care, food, drink and a chance to start a new life, then only to leave all of that behind by risking their lives, many that have lost their lives, by over-boarding cr*ppy unstable boats across the Mediterranean Sea into the a*se that is Eastern Europe up through to Hungary, Austria and Germany where there’s absolutely no threat whatsoever… Then protest, attack border patrols and the police because they feel they’re being, apparently mistreated. (If only they showed such bottle in Syria…). Of course, that’s not to say they’re all acting in such a manner, there are genuine immigrants, but still such actions are totally uncalled for. ‘Refuge’ is established in the first safe country they’ve arrived in, not of their choice that offers the best benefits.
After seeing a lot of footage on TV, BBC, Sky News, ITV, Channel 4, CNN, NBC and the like, while there are ‘a lot’ of elderly, woman and children of which my heart goes out to, I can’t help but notice that they’re largely outnumbered by young/middle-aged men aging from their early ’20s to mid/late ’30s and early ’40s.
What worries me most is the EU (European Union) and their “Open Border/Free Movement” policy within Europe… I don’t think I have to go into further detail about that.

She’s quite a dangerous lady, that Merkel is… Between her, Junckers and other Euro-crats…

It would have went something like this…
Argentina invades The Falklands. French response: ‘Uuuurgh… It’s too early, what time is it? 2:40pm? We’ve never been up at 2:40pm! It’s strike week anyway. Ask the British!’
British do it. Same result. The end. Ta!
😀
Here’s a very simply solution to solve the immigration crisis. (By the way, they’re not “migrants”, but illegal immigrants, regardless if they’re from the (Eastern) EU or not… The people of the UK never had the option to be a part of the EU in the first place.):
1) Get out of the EU. Membership isn’t needed.
2) Introduce an immigration system based on what Australia has. Problem solved. What was that? You’re from a worn torn country, or from a ghetto in Eastern Europe, or even from a rich family in China, or Japan & all? Ok, no worries. Just a few questions: Do you speak basic English? Do you have at least Level-1 in Adult Literacy and Numeracy, in writing and in speaking? Do you have full time work (must be a trade) or education waiting for you for the first day you enter the country? Do you have your own home already bought and ready to be moved into? Do you have a 100% clean criminal record? Tax, health insurance, work/education permits, etc. etc. etc. etc.? No?… Sorry, not interested. Try somewhere else. (Same goes for all nationals) Next!
And no, I’m not being racist, unfair or anything like that. If they don’t contribute to the UK then they’re not welcome, how hard can it be. Also, I’m not ar$ed about ‘Ooooh you can’t do that, try to change one’s mind*’, I’m not going to think otherwise.
I’ve been wanting to work (Musician – that is well received that offers more than its fair share of work and something the particular State has plenty of professional opportunities for) in the US, California. I have a trade, I will be able to contribute to the US, I have work, housing, health insurance etc. already available and the financial qualities, 100% clean criminal record, I have the relevant sponsorships from professionals and US based companies. I meet the criteria to be able to be there, yet, it is enormously, mind boggingly difficult to even get my foot in the door… Am I finding it to be discrimination, unfair, racist? No I’m not, because I respect their policies. And before someone says, ‘Uuuurgh well you don’t have a war torn country to go back to.’ Well, maybe I don’t, but that’s just life, isn’t it.
If the UK can introduce the same kind of policies and show some balls & stand up to EU bureaucrats that decide for us. Then this country will be that much more better.

It does, yes. I’ll believe it when I see it. Integration of both assumes P2Eb as a baseline, P2Ea will integrate Storm Shadow already, but only with P3E the UK specific integration will be completed. Take into account that Storm Shadow isn’t integrated yet, while first flutter trials began in late 2013. Flutter trials with Brimstone haven’t even started. To cut it short it ain’t going to happen unless they hired Harry Potter to speed up things.
I read by 2018, just before Tornado is due to retire. Nothing about a GR4 RAPTOR-like capability though.
Lukos, just wondering, you are BMD on Indian defence right ?
I had an argument with BMD over on that miserable forum with regards to Typhoon’s stations 3 and 4. He claimed they were capable of carrying 2,000lb class weapons, I claimed they cannot carry no more than 1,300lbs. He then asked for a source to back up my claim, so I suggested to him to do what I did, i.e. email a contact from Eurofighter.com and he will be given the same figure I got given… He then went on to say he didn’t need to do that because he knew those such stations could carry 2,000lb class weapons… Unable to discuss properly and claim otherwise. Yes, sounds like Lukos.
Also, I used to be a fan of Nico Rosberg, but after the first three races he’s turned into a total knob. Which is a shame, because he is good, very good indeed, good enough to beat Lewis, but he’s in the wrong frame of mind and he’s doing himself no favours by being a moron.

Formula E is utter sh*te. A decal peels off the car and flops onto the track, it causes the safety car to be deployed. Very dull, and the noise of the cars is enough to make a saint commit to most disturbing crimes.
I do find it amusing that some people “fast forward” F1 races, I mean really? Since when was Formula 1 about overtaking only, what about the strategies, and what race were you watching? In China the front four guys weren’t doing too much overtaking but the racing (yes, racing isn’t just overtaking) was interesting in terms of strategies. From 5th place backwards there was plenty of overtaking from the Red Bulls, Saubers, Toro Rossos, Williams, Lotus’, Force Indias and even the utter crap McLarens.
Australia was a bit, meh. Malaysia was fantastic, China wasn’t as dramatic as Malaysia but there was more going on in the middle of the field.

Listening to what people say on the radio and TV when interviewed.
Yes… because the people the radio and TV stations choose are carefully hand picked, or to put it specifically, the positive ones are largely ignored and the negative ones are favoured to be aired. No biased opinions there… Yeah… Sure…
If people want to do their own research on any party then its best to not use TV and radio, but social media sites. For example, go on Facebook, search UKIP, Conservative, Labour and The Liberal Democrats’ official Facebook pages and just read through comments, see how many “Likes” they have and how many shares they get, etc., and you’ll get a much clearer idea of which is popular and which isn’t.
As it stands now, UKIP have almost 350,000 page ‘Likes’, Conservatives have a bit more at almost 370,000, Labour have a little over 228,000, and The Liberal Democrats (sniggers*) have just over 107,000. While the numbers of “Likes” per page doesn’t necessarily reflect the overall popularity of each party, or maybe it does depending on which way one looks at it, its the number of “Likes” per status, the shares, the positive and indeed the negative comments and the likes of comments of fellow supporters that make the differences of each party. By comparing each parties’ comments by ‘the people’ one will soon learn that UKIP by far receive the most positive comments by the general folk than the other parties, usually by an overwhelming amount and usually more than the other three combined.
Of course, look into it as one will, but I’d rather take notice of those views expressed than by what the ‘selective’ views expressed the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, The Telegraph & what have you want us to read and hear.
