Listening to what people say on the radio and TV when interviewed.

Yes… because the people the radio and TV stations choose are carefully hand picked, or to put it specifically, the positive ones are largely ignored and the negative ones are favoured to be aired. No biased opinions there… Yeah… Sure…

If people want to do their own research on any party then its best to not use TV and radio, but social media sites. For example, go on Facebook, search UKIP, Conservative, Labour and The Liberal Democrats’ official Facebook pages and just read through comments, see how many “Likes” they have and how many shares they get, etc., and you’ll get a much clearer idea of which is popular and which isn’t.

As it stands now, UKIP have almost 350,000 page ‘Likes’, Conservatives have a bit more at almost 370,000, Labour have a little over 228,000, and The Liberal Democrats (sniggers*) have just over 107,000. While the numbers of “Likes” per page doesn’t necessarily reflect the overall popularity of each party, or maybe it does depending on which way one looks at it, its the number of “Likes” per status, the shares, the positive and indeed the negative comments and the likes of comments of fellow supporters that make the differences of each party. By comparing each parties’ comments by ‘the people’ one will soon learn that UKIP by far receive the most positive comments by the general folk than the other parties, usually by an overwhelming amount and usually more than the other three combined.

Of course, look into it as one will, but I’d rather take notice of those views expressed than by what the ‘selective’ views expressed the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, The Telegraph & what have you want us to read and hear.

If Clarkson was found to be a sexual abuser and serial paedophile are you seriously implying his job would be safe? Come on Alan!

The BBC protected Saville, didn’t they…

Whatever happened between Jeremy Clarkson and the BBC Producer, should be dealt with privately since it seems to have been a personal argument behind the scenes. The BBC shouldn’t punish the general public/license payers for something that happened between two guys over diner.

But, whatever Clarkson did, it must have been worse than child molesting – Jimmy Saville style for the BBC to postpone, maybe cancel Top Gear. As we all know, the BBC love kiddy fiddlers, don’t they…

I’ve not visited the forum for quite a while, so much so I forgot my password, been very busy since late 2014. But in the meantime I’ve been catching up on the parties’ campaigns, manifestoes, watching live debates, interviews of all involved when I can for the coming general election.

For quite a while I’ve fell into the trap made up by the media, particularly the BBC and Channel 4 when it comes to TV and Radio, that UKIP are just a right wing racist idealist party without actually looking into them and seeing what they stand for myself, I’m guessing I’m not the only one that has done this. And that’s left the choices to Conservative and Labour and The Liberal Democrats that the so-called left wing media want us to vote for, and to be brutally honest, while I was looking at each one I was struggling to find any differences between the three, if you count the Liberals as being anything important, they’re just saying the same things albeit worded differently while they take cheap shots at one another. So, while this was and still is all happening I noticed via Facebook the number of ‘Likes’ UKIP had for their page and how many people were posting positive comments about them, of course its just a social media site but surely its something to go by? I done a quick comparison check with the Conservative’s page (both official) and noticed they pretty much had the same number, at the time of approximately 330,000+ each. But where as UKIP had/have an overwhelming amount of positive comments, the Tories were and seem to be still are, to be getting plenty of negative comments so, I decided to do my own research on UKIP and see what all the fuss was about…

…And, damn, am I impressed with them. They just make so much sense, especially Nigel Farage. The way he handles the biased media is both informative and factual and as a bonus, hilarious when he makes commentators such as the likes of Andrew Neil, Andrew Marr and Jeremy Paxman stumble for words to counter with, the way he dealt with and owned Nick Clegg on the two live debates (no wonder Cameron and Miliband aren’t keen on debating with him), his Q&As with the British public, the way he hilariously puts to shame the MEPs and EU Bureaucrats in the European Parliament, the way he explains in what he believes in and what so many British believe in and what & how it all should be done. To top it off, he seems [has] many other members that are just as tough to back him up.

All in all, never thought I’d say it, I’m voting UKIP.

BTW let’s invade Syria that will teach them.

There were a few hundred of German Pegida protesting the other day, maybe this cowardly and shameful massacre was triggered by that, so maybe you should invade Germany instead. Idiot.

Well, with the recent terror threats and the “deployment” of British troops into Iraq “training”, less reported of SAS lads having a fun time slotting a few hundred ISIS, ISIL or whatever they’re called this week, scumbags, being on high alert due to the issues in France – speaking of which their “border patrols” are going to be just as sh*te as it always has been because lets face it, if dole sponging immigrants and terrorists are wanting to come to the UK then they’re out of France so just let them hop over the security fences past the useless CCTV and hang onto trains – problem solved for Mr. Frenchie = an issue for another country to worry about and deal with, etc. etc. etc… Rant, rant, rant… and with the recent news of US forces pulling out of over a dozen bases in Europe as well as a couple from the UK… You’d think the UK government would compensate that and introduce greater measures to counter and prevent terror threats, right?… Don’t hold your breath, Cameron recently stated that their are more defence cuts to come. Sigh!*

With regards to Typhoon, Storm Shadow and CFTs. It’s one of the most stupidest decisions I’ve ever had the misfortune of witnessing. It’s like something out of a Monty Python script, but then again, the RAF are good at mentally moving targets closer to them (like they did with Australia on a map all those years ago) and having a ruddy good plan of action as a result, the nit-wit in the RAF that decided against CFTs has obviously thought of that. And the last time I checked, the RAF aren’t exactly overwhelmed with AAR aircraft, nor do they have any plans whatsoever to buy a significant amount.

Yeah… One senses a “A smaller armed forces with more effectiveness for the future” MKII speech coming pretty soon…

    “…’by’ 2017.”

I ordered/bought two dozens of 2015 Gibson Les Pauls for our store to sell directly from the Gibson production line in the USA in September this year. I got an estimation of when they’ll be delivered taking into account production, stock, shipment and costs etc., so by January 2015. They got delivered four days ago. [I]’By'[/] 2017 doesn’t necessarily mean precisely on that date.

    Nic,

lol, sarkozy tried that too. It didn’t work all that well for him.

As mentioned in the report, the UK has a lot on its side other than a base. Sarky just had his 4’1″ height to giggle at.

So we were wrong. Stormshadow does not lead to CFT carriage necessarily if you are the RAF.

No, its him that’s wrong. If you want a long range deep strike capability then a single 1,000lt drop tank and 5t of internal fuel isn’t going to be enough in most scenarios. And the last time I checked the RAF weren’t exactly overwhelmed with AAR aircraft in their arsenal.

He’s just selling a sob story for the latter because SDSR 2015 is quickly approaching.

But he usually does it in a tasteless, juvenile manner.
He comes across like a drunken public school bully who thinks he’s more clever than he is.

Sadly, he’s the image of UK humour…crass and insulting rather than witty and clever.

So what? He only states what people with common sense thinks, the same ones that are affraid to speak out because of “Political Correctness” bollox.

Pretty much the only topic I don’t agree with him on is fox hunting or any form of hunting for that matter.

If people can’t get his humour then they should just switch over and don’t follow him so they can have something to moan about, in other words; get a life.

A lot of people, including Clarkson, plenty of others and myself are fed up of what can say and can’t say in case some attention seeking git gets the hump, and in this day & age its the smallest of things.

Just the other week at work, guitar store, very busy day, serving a customer (nice friendly guy), bought a bass guitar, I rang downstairs to bring up the case and paper work for it because I was the only staff member on the floor at that moment as well as just about to serve another customer while he wondered around waiting. So, the case comes up and my boss asks whom is it for, I’ll sort it. I replied; ‘Oh for the coloured gentleman with the blue shirt (there was two other white customers with blue tops on looking around, you see), don’t worry its fine, thanks.’ Anyhow, got him sorted and he was on his way. Happy and satisfied customer.

My boss pulled me when it got quiet and politally said to me that I can’t use “coloured” when reffering to… Well you know whom. But apparently it is ok to use “black”… Yep, confuses the hell out of me too but apparently this is the new PC thing. What utter sh*te!

This is why so many people are fed up with this PC bollox. If the wrong person heard me say that then I would most certainly be branded a racist of some sort even though my intentions were and are friendly.

    This kind of thing… Sigh.*

F35b, go do your research on Operation Ellamy regarding what RAF Typhoons achieved. It is clear in your mini essay that you haven’t read up on that. As afore mentioned, you’re out of date.

    Ta!
