no one said they the new lacm will be use against.at taiwan .with that range more likly japan and guam.

Totally agree. This class of weapon is clearly designed to be used against distant targets. Think of China in the context of the UK with GLCM in the 80’s aimed at the Soviet Union.

The USN will not be decommisioning any Aegis Destroyers anytime soon!

Too true! Even the original DDG-51 is only 13 years old.

Good luck with this! The only pics I have found are one of an F-51 in the TNI-AU Museum in Indonesia, and another ex-TNI-AU F-51 now restored to P-51 standard in a NZ Museum.

Quite a number of land locked countries that border the Caspian Sea have large ships operating there. i.e Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, etc

Large commercial types perhaps, but not military as far as I recall. I think all ex-USSR states that border the Caspian, bar the Ukraine, operate small patrol forces.

Love the SOV, and in 1/200 scale too! Has Dragon DML got any new Russian types in their range? Always been a big fan of the Russian types.

    1. Right plane, wrong date. No.5 Near enough.

Was it the Y1B-17? There were 13 of this model built, and a total of 12,731 B-17’s built in total.

    Not the YB-17.

Speaking of deteriorating relations with the US, Bush has just slapped an economic sanction on them

Could be the reason they are now opting for Russian hardware. The Indonesians have had a similar sanction on them by the US for several years now, which has also affected their own F-16 fleet. Now they are buying FLANKERs. Go figure.

Me 163 endurance was less than 10min. I think 7min 30sec of powered flight by my sources.

A climbing roll always looks alright to me when I pull it off in WW II Fighters.
