Hello from New Richmond Wisconsin!!

Home of XT752 or as we like to call her Janet.

Janet is very special to us, she is a part of our family and we cherish the fact that we have managed in a little over two years to bring her back to life!! Yes she resides in the USA but she has never lost her British heritage.

We have been asked on many occasions to please bring her back home for a visit. We ponder this thought many times over. Many of you know the fight we took on to keep her and preserve her. We continue to fight as we are not done yet! More information to come out soon! But let’s not dwell on that! Let’s talk about bringing her home to visit.

We would like to do this for those who may not be able to get to the USA for the airshows that she attends. Whether it is financial, health or any other reason. We want to share her with you!! She is not meant to be a hangar queen. She is meant to be put on display! We want to hear your stories, see your pictures or just hear your connection with Gannets. We want her to be apart of your life as she is ours.

If she came to the UK yes you would be able to get close to her, meet the team, ask questions. That is what my team is all about. Janet wants to meet you and she loves having her photo taken. She loves it when people come to see her!

When she is on display you will see her smile.

We will be working to raise money to get her over! She deserves this. She has a lot of history behind her and everyday we are writing more!!

Like I said before my goal is to get her back to the UK for at least one season. It would be my pleasure to share her with everyone. That is my end result. I have also told my team that no matter what when we are presenting her we will meet and greet everyone. You will not find people with high egos who come strutting out of the aircraft and keep themselves at arms lengths. My team will be there shaking hands, signing autographs and taking pictures with everyone who comes to see her. This isn’t an ego stroke for me.

I love seeing the joy in people’s eyes when they come into the hangar and see her for the first time. When I see this I know that I have done something right.

The Gannet is suppose to be positive, fun and exciting. I want to share that with everyone…well most everyone.

Yes I have struggled and yes I have fought really hard for all of this and no I am not this horrible person that everyone likes to think I am although it makes for a good story.

It is really unfortunate that Mark Petrie and Ray Middleton ever thought they could do this and get away with it. Has anyone every asked them why? What was the pupose? What was there end result. Would they have accomplished what I have? Would they have shared her? Or would it just be another ego stroke?

There is so much of the story that is untold that I have decided to start up a website which hopefully will be up and running soon. It will be the untold story of the Gannet. I will start from the beginning to the end. I will post every piece of documentation, letters, emails and some threatening to myself and my team and that point in time you can than decide on what to believe. I will not leave anything out.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Shannan Hendricks (or Odone in the UK) proud owner of the Fairey Gannet XT752.

I thought I would join the conversation with regards to the Gannet and let anyone know that if they have any quesions I would be happy to answer unless I can’t due to ongoing legal issues.
