That BA ERJ is something spectacular! Nice pic also Dan
Cracking shots!
Top notch as usual Matt, I bet its ok at MAN when there is quite a lot of activity going on….but with BHX, there is a lot of hanging around! 😀
Very nice indeed! The things we do to look at planes eh?! 😀
Simply stunning shots! It just looks so fantastic…
Very nice shots! The low sunlight really does add effect to them
Very nice report so far!
Im learning to fly at the moment at Wellesbourne airfield near Stratford-upon-avon. To do my PPL, it cost just under 6K which is quite steep if you think about it but it should be worth it in the end 😀
The best thing you can do is look around on the internet but if you prefer not to do that, shop around eg. Jessops or retail shops to try and find good prices for a camera which you would find suitable
Wozza, are you looking for a digital camera or film camera?
That one there is film camera and you will struggle with getting them on a PC ie. Scanning them etc.
I agree with you Dan, I started off aviation photography when i was about 12 and since then i haven’t done too badly, allthough im not quite at the stage of some people 😀
I still use a Fuji S5000 which is capable of 6MP and thats what i set it on and since then i nearly have 300 pics on JP.net.
I would recommend that you do go for something like a point-and-shoot camera to start yourself off.
Myself though, i am considering about getting a DSLR as i am nearly at the stage of affording one!
Hope this helps
Fantastic shots! When i was at DUB last year, i was wondering what it must be like to go on an A330 to Shannon 😀
Fantastic report. Still have to disagree with you about the Alitalia 170 😀
Great report and pictures. It looks like you took off on runway 15 as the long stay car park is where i get most of my photos from 😀
I use the S5000 and it has done me good with almost 300 pics on JP.net and about 30 on A.net. I would like to upgrade to a DSLR, maybe a 350D someday but for the time being, the Fuji works! The only slight problem with it is the focus and shutter time is slow to react and if you are taking a shot of an aircraft landing/taking-off etc. You miss half of it! 😀
