    Russian navy is at the final stages of designing work for a new nuclear (more than 90% probable according to admiral Visotskiy) powered cruiser/destroyer project. I want to ask if someone has more detailed information about that issue.

    There is non. Don’t get your hopes up that it will be nuclear powered also While the president of United Shipbuilding Corporation and few other mentioned they would be. The brass that counts hasn’t said a word yet.

    Granted the Soviets flirted with the idea of nuclear powered destroyers and had few projects on paper with one of them getting a go ahead before shortly being scrapped.
    Operating a fleet of nuclear vessels was just to expensive I don’t think that has changed much. Then there’s the initial cost. Plain and simply Russia and it’s navy can’t afford it unless something changed dramatically. I can see though a 10000 ton destroyer or very close to that displacement.

    One of them would have had a chance to live probably if the rescue crew didn’t take couple of hourse to get to the crash site. Which was pretty close by.

    Also, somewone should check up on TR1, he probably had a heart attack.

    Think what? That PAK FA will be slower? Because it is a fact. In same way that PAK FA was one cockpit and four wheels. Or think that those are landing pictures? Because first one is T-50-2 first flight, and second -1 first flight in zhuk.

    Why PAK FA will be slower. And could you please turn the bitchness a tad lower. Thanks.

    What idiocy. Can’t believe people actually fall for this amateur crap, as if it will affect production PAK-FA.

    If I was the Chinese, I would be a little more concerned with their own program, like making engines. :p

    I know …and no point in rebutting some of the “flaws”. Mind’s are already made up. I can’t wait though until this reaches the Indian defence forum, the comments will be priceless.

    According to some members there Gorshkov was a wwII carrier. 😮
