A museum (Uruguayan AF) in Montevideo was badly damaged by fire in 1997 (I think) with the loss of quite a few interesting aircraft.
russian airliners are all in ‘english’ rather than cyrillic script. GA can be either (have seen both) – not 100% sure about military but the ones i have seen use recognisable numbers
China (B-xxxxx numbers) / Japan (JA-xxxx combo / Bulgaria (LZ-xxx letters) Yugoslavia (YU-xxx letters) – again airliners are in ‘english’ – not seen much GA in either country but as both countries use numbers as well as letters it makes sense to keep them the same. X = numbers or letters or combo

Very good speaker and an interesting lecture.
Popham hosts a ‘starlight foundation’ event every year and is designed to give children a flight experience.
Nothing down south but i have experienced a 6.5 in tokyo a few years ago – very odd sensation feeling my bed shake across the room (15th floor of a hotel)!

Nothing too special owned by myself – just a series of Fords starting with Escort XR3i then a Mondeo SI and ST200. Currently got St220 (in black) which is excellent and is a wolf in sheep’s clothing (as the muppet in a saxo / chavo with a big exhaust / roof spoiler found out when trying to go round the outside on a roundabout in a bus lane)

I’ll be there (3rd year running and fingers crossed) Fantastic event – an absolute ‘must’ for any aviation fan. It has something for everybody from warbirds, to fast jets, historic ga to the latest homebuilts.
Suggest anybody here keeps a very close eye on Airliners.net as they are looking to change their ‘terms of service’ which has potentially serious implications for anybody with photos there.
