Has not changed my opinion about Ryanair – never flown with them and never will.
A typical violent over-reaction from a religion that is supposed to be one of tolerance and peace – hypocracy or what. Extremists are using Islam as an excuse and it is about time that the leaders of the religion condem those who stir up violence towards the ‘west’. The violent protests shown only reinforce people’s perception of Islam as a religion of hatred and intolerance.
Muslims in the west enjoy much more freedom (than say a christian in Saudi) yet some repay our tolerance by recruiting people for suicide missions. In fact as a minority religion we seem to do more to help them than we do the majority religions. If muslims do not want to live in a society where such freedoms exist then they are welcome to leave.
If people are offended then tough – I am offended by suicide bombers / terrorist acts but do not go round burning flags / making death threats etc.

People who after having stowed hand luggage in the o/h bins get up again and either move them, get something from them that they must have now – all while blocking the aisle for other passengers.
People who try and squeeze past the cabin crew when a drink / meal service is being done.
People who get off and then stop (looking lost) at the bottom of an escalator! – had this in AMS last year and had to push them out of the way to avoid the crush behind. This was using the new ‘H’ gates on arrival at AMS – long queue at passport control.
Taking trollies on escalators (even if allowed) – saw an elderley couple who could not push their laden trolley off the top of an escalator – had to have help from somebody at the top.
As a pax have been on DC9 (NW + MD80 (AA) and 727’s (AA) that have pushed back using reverse thrust.
xpboy,
Jetphotos does give suggested sizes with 1024 x 768 being a common one. Width seems to be more critical as I often have different figures for the height element without any problems (apart from usual rejection reasons)
Many thanks for that Albert
Must visit Cosford somewhen – how far is it away from Cosford Station as that is likely to be how I get there?
1) Moonraker
2) The world is not enough
3) Approach to the space station
4) Sean Connery
5) Carey Lowell from Licence to Kill

Manchester has a far better viewing areas than LHR / LGW – less hassle with authorities etc. LHR espensive to get to either by car or public transport (such that it is) also expensive to park when there. (£15/day if you use visitor centre car park for more than 7 hours – easier to get 2 x 4 hours for £10)

The Tu144S model had the Kuznetsov NK-144 engines & the Tu144D had Koliesov RD-36-51 engines. Can find no info to suggest there was a size difference between these production varients.
Great pictures – had an excellent lecture last week by Air Commodore G Pitchfork on the ‘brick’ and what he does not know about it is not worth knowing. He has 2500+ hours on them flying both the S1 and S2 versions for RN & RAF. Flew S1’s on HMS Eagle. Was in charge of 2no ‘Red Flag’ exercise detachments that did win the competition mainly as a result of the low level flying that could not be matched.
Mentioned the telegraph wire story as well. As for the odd paint scheme on 1 or 2 on the red flag exercise – the paint spec was ‘off’ and came of after flying through cloud.
yep – another number taker here but its is more than just that. Am involved with local aviation groups (got heckled at one by Melvyn last year and HE was the speaker), keen photographer,(even give the odd show) have worked on a couple of restoration projects , etc and the number taking is just a small part of the overall interest.
