James, thanks for comments – the bi plane is either the Boeing PT17 Stearman or the export version, the Kaydet ,one of 3 very attractive 60 plus years old versions, flown in to Cottesmore – Martin Shaw of T V fame owns and flies one from East Anglia I believe.

Ref the new panels on Charlie Mathews 29(R) Squadron Typhoon – I have no idea, but they are most noticable on topsides.

    Cheers

Great shots Richard, really like the Firefly topside – it may be hot, but the quality of light makes for great photo`s.

    Cheers

Great shots as always T J – especially liked shots 10 and 11 which show the incredible varition in skin panels on the underside – but then aren`t we lucky to be seeing these photo-opportunities as the Vulcan team keep her on the line with impressive reliability – this has been an incredibly challenging 2 weeks for the engineering team!

    ETPS Gripen

    OG
The ETPS was listed as Swedish AF but may be some lease arrangement with ETPS at Boscombe where ETPS is joint venture public/private between MoD and Cinetiq – also BAe marketting partners for Grippen.
Also at RIAT was Cinetiq badged Alphajet ? as next.

    Thanks for comments – Ian

    James

Faulty Alternator on Nr 3 engine , apparently ran out of time to obtain replacement from Brunty and fit same – shame for ALL the Sunday crowd

    XH 558 Brilliant over Brunty

Monday 23rd June – priveleged to see 558 doing a smooth but exciting 20 minute spell – whether it was to obtain pilot experience or Airshow approval matters not – the bird looked majestic with some turns and angles , sensible but great visually – well done to all behind the controls and behind the scenes – let`s hope that bodes well for Waddington – be appreciative of what we`ve got – leave the knockers for the tabloids – will see if I can master some photo uploads on the photo section

Thanks for the advice – I remain unsure about the use of photo bucket and how it actually operates

    Cheers for the response
