YESSSS,
Lancasters!!!!!! Thanks for the piccs.
Any more out there?
Anyone made and have photo`s of Lancaster G – For George, AR+G W4783 460 Squadron RAF (RAAF)?
It was the Airfix version in the late 60`s early 70`s.
Those other models are great the Halifax etc. I especially like the Cockpit detail of the Mossie. What scale is it?
Steve 🙂
Hmm,
Still no Lancasters!
🙁
Wow,
What superb models! I made a lot of aircraft models when I was younger. But not to that standard.
But no Lancasters?
Steve 🙂
My first model was a 1/72nd Airfix Spitfire that came in a plastic bag……………………………….
Steve 🙂
Another one slips away. Rest in Peace Bob Morgan.
Steve
Dave,
Have a look at

Dave,
All of the names are from 8th AF B17`s that flew with the 91st (H) Bomb Group.
The 91st BG flew from Bassingbourn from 1942- 1945.
Steve 😀
This could set a precedent. I wonder what would happen if the RAF demanded the return of all Spitfires, Hurricanes, Lancasters ……………………………………………………………………………………………………..etc.
Steve 🙁
Framed prints of G for George and No turning back both Lancasters by Robert Taylor.

Twas a Nimrod!

3) Aviation related stalls Not those b*****y brick a brack ones!
I can even put up with the new display axis.

🙂
Moggy,
That rather defeats the object of the programme then?
Steve:(
I have to agree with Mark G`s comments. While it was fascinating to hear from the veterans.
I for one was hoping to see a programme about a youngster learning to fly a Spitfire.
Would he now be trusted to go solo?
Are there any plans for him to fly a Spitfire again?
Is this the start of a fascinating career?
Once again I mean no disrespect to any of the veterans interviewed. Without them………………………………
Steve:)
Sorry Watty,
I didn`t get a photo! Did anyone else?
Steve:(
Thanks Flood,
Unfortunately it`s out of my league!
