Early in the design phase it had been intended to incorporate a pair of 225P 23-mm cannon in the fixed wing sections, but these were never adopted; a single aircraft was test-fitted with a twin-barrel 23-mm GSh-23L cannon in an under-fuselage VSPU-36 pack (some reports suggest this arrangement was actually an operational fit, although only available when a STOL profile was used). Since there was no standard provision for internal gun armament, twin-barrel 23-mm UPK-23-250 cannon pods were a regular fixture on the outer wing pylons.

Also, Paralay’s photo shows an R-60 on the inner pylon, while the chart does not indicate that as an option.
What if this missile has a millimeter wave radar and can also be used for air to ground applications?
Could JSF can go on a mission carrying 12 “long range Hellfires” and defend itself with them if it encounters enemy fighters?
JH-7B? – slightly stealthed?
All those other planes heft a silly load to make good promo pics to put on sale brochures. The J10 is not for sale yet so there is no need for such publicity stunts.
If any of those planes were flying combat missions, they would never be leaving home with so many missiles, so its all for show.
PLAAF planes are rarely pictured with weapons. If they are carrying live weapons, its for live fire exercises, and you don’t carry more than what you intend to shoot. The rest of the time, they are carrying blue training rounds, but again, you never carry more than maybe a couple of those.
The Typhoon and Rafale are in a different weight class than the J-10; they carry more ATA missiles in combat. The F-16 and Gripen are more similar to the J-10 and carry similar loads:

The Gripen carries a load similar to the J-10.
I don’t think there is room for side bays. A deep central bay could fit between the landing gear. With staggered carriage it could fit maybe 4-6 PL-12 and 2 smaller missiles?

What’s the vertical thing I circled in red?
I’m having trouble visualizing the aircraft behind the smudge. From the angle it is facing, based on the tail, I would have expected the wing to be sticking out past where the smudge ends on the left side. If it is an all-moving tail, maybe that explains it.
Allegedly, in exchange for Israeli training, air defense contracts, and drones, Georgia provided access to two air bases. These would have provided Israel with an attack route into the north of Iran. Azerbaijan and Armenia would have been overflown. Israeli aircraft could get to the Georgian bases by overflying Turkey, or, with Israeli-Turkish relations at a low point, they could fly over the Aegean Sea, Greece, Bulgaria, and the Black Sea to preposition to Georgia.
One problem with this is that the route from Georgia to Iranian nuclear sites is about the same distance from Israel to those nuclear sites. However, the issue of overflying Arab states would be mitigated, and the Israelis could do a two prong air attack (or maybe even three prong if a formation of aircraft approach Iran by coming up the Persian Gulf from the Arabian Sea – the long route, and a distance which Israel has apparently covered in aerial refueling exercises).
The other problem is that during the Russia-Georgia war, Russian forces made a beeline to the two airfields in Georgia, and captured all equipment which was already there. Apparently this included Israeli drones.
The shot from the top reminds me of something:

You could also look into the USAF, US Navy, and Virgin Atlantic experiments with biofuels. If I recall correctly these fuels have lower emissions?
Well, according to Saab the reason why they are revisiting the idea of Sea Gripen (it’s actually not a new idea) is that a “Potential customer” recently approached Saab and asked for information.
So either Saab is lying or your analysis ignored a potential customer….
China?
That shows how huge the Typhoon class is.
Is there ever a time when the Kuz isn’t in dock for repair, overhaul and upgrade!
On a serious note the impression I got was the Su-33 would be upgraded then operated alongside the Mig-29K, I would think she has space for a mixed air group.
I have heard that part of the modernization entails removing the SS-N-19 Shipwreck missiles and expanding the hanger.
Would it be possible to make canards from a radar-transparent material, with only the actuator at the joint being potentially reflective?
Its a very small jet, no much bigger than f-5 style.
I’m fairly certain any production aircraft would be larger. The prototypes might be 2/3 scale? From the cutaways I’ve seen there isn’t much internal volume for a weapons bay.
