I made my avatar out of this picture, a flight of Norwegian Naval Air Service Hansa-Brandenburgers ( around 1920 ) which I felt reflected both my nationality and my main field of interest in aviation history :

Thanks for the link and another picture I haven´t seen before. I´m not residing in Sweden btw, but in Norway. Bergen to be exact ( the wrong side of Norway ). I appreciate you offering to lend me some of your books. It´s a long way to Göteborg though ( a lovely city btw ). But I´ll happily take any recommendation you, or anyone else, have on books dealing with military aircraft ( of all nationalities ) produced and in service during the inter-war years.

Thanks for your book recommendation Anne, I´ll try to get my hands on that one as soon as possible.

And thanks for the great picture Papa Lima ( and sorry about accusing you of being Swedish btw ). It´s a 25th Sqn Grebe isn´t it ? I know the stripes along the fuselage are black, but do you happen to know the colour used on the area around the cockpit ?

I notice you´re Swedish. You wouldn´t have any books on Swedish pre-WWII aircraft / aircraft production to recommend btw ? They don´t have to be in English, I have no trouble reading Swedish.

Das Model the way Rammstein does it ( it was originally written and performed by Kraftwerk ). Rammsteins version of Stripped ( Depeche Mode ) is pretty cool as well.

Thank you for your replies Gentlemen,

I wonder what happened to the four aircraft delivered to the Norwegians though ?

It has been suggested to me that they were grounded soon after their service entry. Apparently because they were considered too dangerous to fly by their pilots.
