    Hello Alan,

    After too many hours to mention and the stripping down of two Martinet control boxes my restored example is finally ready for installation.     The part numbers appear to start ’25’ which make them Martinet, for some reason the small section is a cut down central fixed hood with the other either being a front or rear sliding hood.

    Hello Andrew,

    The Air Britain register has PZ740 being allocated solely to 1690 BDTF prior to its loss. I only have one of the earlier registers so no dates I am afraid.

    Hi David / All,

    It is a new photo to me and a wonderfully atmospheric view from a very interesting angle, I would certainly love to see a high resolution copy. I have a rather blurred photo of the checker-board cowling example but no serial tie up. I seem to recall a Flypast article by Peter Green (?) that may give further detailing?

    My understanding is that KBOB museum still holds a reasonable sized cache of Miles Master parts with a long term goal to recreate a Miles Master I.

    The top one certainly resembles the type fitted to the Miles Master, do you have a clearer picture of this?

    Many thanks for your comprehensive reply it really is appreciated. I do indeed have Fig 3 so will re-size and upload for your information. Whilst I appreciate that TR1133 components are very hard to come by it is the radio installation I am trying to re-create within my Miles Martinet project. I am by no means an expert on these installations, hence the request and how welcome your reply has been.

    Many thanks for the reply and apologies for the lack of context. I have the JB Type 31 as forming part of the Martinets TR1133 radio installation as detailed on the attached AP page.
