Virgin Atlantic was a publically quoted company but sometime back Branson bought up all the shares to take back into private ownership.
yea thts the question i would have asked some time soon i wounder but you know somone must know becasue sir rishard branson is the owner of the virgin network

The actual details on Virgin Atlantic ownership are…
On 20 December 1999 Richard Branson signed an agreement to sell a 49% stake of Virgin Atlantic to Singapore Airlines to form a unique global partnership. The cost of the transaction to Singapore Airlines was £600.25 million, which included a capital injection of £49 million and valued Virgin Atlantic at a minimum of £1.225 billion. The deal was finalised in 2000. Richard retains the controlling 51% stake in the airline. Source http://www.virgin-atlantic.com

If this is Summer Charter bases, then the Astraeus 733’s, operated for Iceland Express (STN) and FlyBE (BHX) shouldn’t be included.
If we are happy they can be included, then we should add another Astraeus 733 for Exeter, also being operated on behalf of FlyBE

Add another 757 for Astraeus for LGW.

Add an A320 for MYT for BRS

Add an A321 for FCA for BRS

Don’t think Exeter has a based FCA unit for the summer – the aircraft is shared between Cardiff (Summer) and Exeter (Winter), though this may well change for summer 2006 with an all year round basing at Exeter for FCA.

What about European ? 737-200s at STN / BHX / MAN and at BOH for Palmair.
