P.S: My favourites

Divulje consits of a U-shaped underground airplane hangar. The enterances have a 90° turn as seen below:

Udbina is an unfinished war time airbase and does not have any underground shelters. It only has aircraft dispersal areas. The only underground shelter it has is a nuclear bunker at the unfinished control tower. See link below for photos of this airfield:
I’ve seen nice pics of migs being moved arround in Divulje (split airfield) I’ve aircarft chelters going in to hillside chelters very interesting how much a?C can be stored there? is it still in use, not so much activity lately….

I am sceptical however that we will get any of the Iraqi debt. I can recall that when our companies wanted to participate in rebuilding of Iraq, the govrement had to sing some documents stating that all the Iraqi debt towards ex Yugoslavia will be written off.

well, the latest report is that two missiles were fired. C-802 hit the freighter as a decoy and C-701 hit Hannit.
Check this report

What Lebanese coastal radars are they mentioning in the text
The crater looks quite big and my guess is they used LGBs.

Does anyone know what missiles were used against the Beirut Airport runways?

A newly discovered photo of tunnel enterance at Slatina AB.
Here are airplane storage/shelter tunnels in the Balkans.
1) Slatina AB (Pristina)
2) Zeljava AB (Bihac-largest underground airbase in Europe,5 runways,destroyed in 1991)
3) Divulje (Split)
4) Mostar AB (low res but i presume similar to the Sipcanik facility)
5) Berat-Kucove (Albania-notice the relic Migs)
6) Leche-Zadrima (Albania)
Yep they are Schakletons.I’ve been there and seen them, they arent in good shape.
The following two photos show the Sipcanik facility near Golubovci AB (Podgorica) where about 20 G-4s got destroyed during the bombing in ’99. Namely, the blast doors were not closed completely and the airplanes that were stored withing the tunnels were fueled (even though that is not the standard practice when storing them within tunnels).Upon detonation of the bomb that fell in front of the tunnel, wing of one G-4 cought fire and it quickly spread to the other airplanes. All the airplanes of the “Flying Stars” got destroyed on that occasion 🙁 😡
Believe it or not,it is actually the same airplane:) It is common to see in Google Earth these “ghosts”.
