I talked to the pilot for about half an hour. He was deployed in Iraq for about 3 months and has seen action. I have asked him about the cable cutters, IR Jammers,Hellfire missiles,Longbow radar and the cannon. A very nice guy! Unfortenutely,i was unable to take photos of the cockpit.

Hey, now that we’re on the topic of big heavy transports, does anyone have any info on the air-cargo company that is flying a single Il-76 out of Belgrade airport? I know it was flying regularly last year as the big ol’ b@stard flew over my house a few times. Is it still flying?

Do you know what radar it had and where was this technology obtained from?
My cousing was working in Iraq in the early to mid 1980s on developing the MLRS systems;)
One final question,why did Saddam thing that after the Desert Storm,he would get the airplanes that flew to Iran back? Just your view,i am curious.
