    The AK-47 is unbeaten!

You can put it in Water and Sand, and it still works, you don’t have to clean it many times…..it’s a really good piece….

Exactly! It is an easy to use and easy to maintain weapon with relatively good accuracy.

It being used by rebels, terrorists or poorly equipped armies as Scanderbeg said is because it is relatively cheap. Also the above points that i made are relevant for this argument as well.

If you ever shot or maintained an AK-47,you would know.

Does anyone know what would happen to the navy if montenegro breaks up from serbia?

The Union of Serbia and Montenegro and Montenegro alone,do not need a navy. They inherited a sizable portion of ex-Yugoslavia’s navy which supposed to protect the whole Adriatic coast, from Montenegro all the way up to Slovenia.Nowdays, the tasks to be fullfiled are much less demanding and Montenegro will most probably only use small lightly armed patrol boats. Navy missile boats, torpedo boats and submarines are up for sale or scrap yard.

What is the general concensus here, is Martin Baker the best in the world? What would you prefer to be sitting on if you had to bail out?

Martink Baker seems to be the most popular ejection seat in the world these days.

However,i will never forget the video of Mig-29 pilot ejecting at Farnborough in the 1980s at low altitude by using his K-36 seat. That was pretty impressive.Maybe some can post screen caps of that video.

Dont insult Fedaykin as he said nothing bad about Serbian AF,he is just being realistic. I completely agree with him, that there is a great chance Mig-29s will not be overhauled and the ones that do are just going to be used for Air Patrols, nothing offensive.

And i suggest we shift all the talk to the other thread “Mig-21 and Mig-29 at Batajnica AB – new photos” so we don’t need to talk in multiple threads about the same subject.

Give him a break people. He is new and probably doesnt know what he is talking about. So instead of dissing someone straight aways, just let him realise what he is writing and hopefully he will start writing relevant things.

theserbian, nemoj molim te ovde da nas brukas.Pazi sta pises, jer to sto si do sada napisao nema nikakvog smisla. Gledaj malo sta mi ostali, iskusniji pisemo,i dobro razmisli sta ces da dodas.Ovako nas samo ismejavaju.

The first live ejection was made 13 January 1945 when a test pilot ejected from a Heinkel He280 prototype.
The seat displayed at Deutsches Museum is representative of those used operationally in He219 night fighters.

The next photo shows the ejection seat of the last remaining He-219 at NASM.Note the red handle,i wonder whats that for;)

The guy in the last photo pulled that red handle 😀

They were used for both, and were made such so that the biggest ship the Navy at that time had could fit in it.
