Sadly this is how one of the Sabres finished 🙁
Is there something interesting to see around the Chalkidiki area?
Anyways,as said before, the knowledge and technology exist for overhauling the Mig-29s (take a look at the 1st photo),but the main problem is the money. It would be nice to see them again in the old shine (2nd photo)
Old is gold
Part III
If anyone has questions about a certain photo(s) feel free to ask.
P.S:On the last photo of Mig-21,are those AS-1 Kerry air to ground missiles?

Part I
3 more photos of the “Flying Stars” and one rare photo of F-86 Sabre Aerobatic Team showing the underside paint job.
Anyone else notice it is actually a GLIDER? It has no engine…
It indeed seems so.Most probably used only to test the aerodynamics properties of that wing form. I guess the next prototype would have had some kind of a jet engine(s),much like Horten Ho IX V1 (glider) and Ho IX V2 (jet powered).
Oh,amazing.I saw that wind tunnel model in the museum, but i didnt know that the prototype was actually made and that in flew. Unfortenutely it seems that it wasnt preserved, like many others. It would have been such a highlight. 🙁
The Mi24v and the AN72 would be realistic especially as an24 operated by the Serbian airforce are heavily used. Mi24 would be usefull for border and police duties.
Serbia has not got the money to support a jet like the Su30, personel would need to be trained and fuel would need to be bought to feed those thirsty Saturn AL31’s. The Serbian air force can barely afford to keep the jets it has in service in the air. Leasing in many ways would be even more expensive then an out right purchase. Russia can’t afford to just give away 30 brand new fighter jets itself.
The best that Serbia can hope for at the moment is to maintain a corp of proficient pilots to allow them the basis to build up a new force if the economy recovers. The best kind of things for that would be a small amount of cheap trainer types like the PC7 and the L39.
Serbian Air Force uses An-26s,not An-24.Currently only one of them is in flying condition and will get overhauled.
My opinon is that Iraq will not rebuild its Air Force for quite some time. Most probably the US and the Coallition forces will be patroling its skies for the time to come. They have much bigger problems than buying new aircraft,as all of their old ones are not servicable anymore.
Tu-160M would have had additional segments of about 4m total added to the length, in order to lengthen the weapons bays to accommodate two 3M25A Meteorit-A missiles.
According to Yefim Gordon, there was a project to modernise the Tu-160 with improved NK-74 engines with better fuel efficiency, a modern digital avionics suite, and precision guided munitions. This may be the same as the late 80s Tu-170 non-nuclear bomber project mentioned by Piotr Butowski.
What does the modernisation of the the new Tu-160s and of the old ones consits of?
This airplane never flew right?
Its wings bare resemblance to Fw-190 W18 test aircraft.
well thats what i heard from the goverment but i forgot to add something about it they wrote down they are going to purchuse or lease its for sure going to be a lease.
Goverment never said anything like that as they have more important things to allocate funds to.
What Su-30s are you talking about? No money no honey. There is no way they will acquire Su-30s,especially newly built. A squadron of 30 Su-30s would cost over $2 billion with all the equipment and weapons. And we have no money for that. You need to go for a visit and see the situation for yourself…
