10.And especially for someone,F-4 Phantom II 😉
How come the crew did not notice the “Mig”?It seems kinda silly to me that the mig just showed up there and flew into the propeller of Hercules without making itself visible to the crew,to let them know he is there.
Are you thinking of “Secret Aircraft Designs of the Third Reich”?I got that book trough Dan Johnson’s website and i got it signed by the author, David Myhra for my 16th birthday 😀
There is also a “story” about Nazi bases in Antartica, the so called base 511,and Nazi Ufo’s.I even have “pictures” of these if anyone wants.
Anyways, here is the cover of the “SWOTL” game CD.
Oh,i did not notice that Arthur gave the link to Luft ’46 already.
Concerning the game “Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe”,i had it and i loved it.:) The game was the inspiration for the name of my website. Here is the banner of my old website made in the style of the game.
I had my own Luftwaffe project website made when i was 14.I dont know if anyone has seen it,but by the time i closed it i had around 250 000 views. If you guys are interested in the topic,i suggest you check Dan Johnson’s website Luftwaffe ’46 at http://www.luft46.com . Anyways,if any of you are interested about the topic or want some pictures, just send me a private message.
Here is anyway the skematic and a 3D drawing of how Sanger Orbital bomber was supposed to be launched.
The aircraft in the museum is Horten Ho IX or as some sources call it Gotha Go-229.It had two JUMO 004B engines. The second prototype made two flights before crashing(due to hydraulics failiure) and the end of the war stopped any further testing.Third prototype was shipped to USA and is now in Smitsonian museum.
Here are some more pictures of Mig-29 AAR.Hope u like them:)
It is still hard to believe for me that China would get involved in the conflict in Europe, even back then.
The truth is out there:)
Well i think it is possible that at certain speeds the contrails join to one. That can explain why it wasnt long.I know that contrails of Dc-9 and Boeing 727 can join to one, since the engines are pretty close together(it would be interesting to see contrail of Il-62,with 4 engines at the tail, might help). But with B-1,the 2 pairs are further apart and below the fuselage.I will leave that to the experts.
That reminds me of a time when i saw a B-2 approaching to land while looking out trough a hotel window. At first i was thinking i am just making it up but when the airplane made the turn and i saw the all wing black structure,i knew i was right:)
I suggest you guys read “Red Storm Rising” by Tom Clancy and see the author’s view of how a Soviet attack on Europe would take place. It is different then mentioned by all the people above.Pretty good book,so i suggest to you guys!I read it twice myself.
Travolta has a number of planes. He has first the Boeing 707 as his travel jet.He doesnt not have a russian plane but Yugoslav Galeb G-2.
Sanger orbital bomber was to be launched with a booster connected to its tail.It was not a one way mission,it was indeed supposed to land on its landing wheels.
Here is a picture of me in front of the B-47 at the airplane museum in Seattle, right next to the Boeing factory.
Great airplane and great video!
Keep them coming!:)
