This radar would be an easy target for chinese ICBM missiles or cruise missiles. They should have obtained some more mobile system.Ok,it can detect the inital attack but once it is destroyed, what good is there of it?

If this was Russian A-50 wouldn’t it have Russain red starts on the wings and the tail or at least the russain flag on the tail?

It is possible that chinese developed it by themselves but are they really that advanced to make that kind of airborne radar?

Well sorry if i said that it is sarcastic but thats how it sounded when i read the number of 120 Mig-29s my country should have.As i said,we dont have the funds and need for that and if we wanted to buy that many airplanes West would think we are getting ready for war again.

My opinion is still that Gripen is the best solution, only if it comes with all the weapons and it is not downgraded but ok MiG-29 SMT could also do the job especially cause we have the infrastructure and also we can overhaul the engines for it but we do not need more than 40 aircraft.

Concerning my whereabouts, i have lived in Serbia most of my life but at the moment i am studying in Germany.

Ok,we will buy 20 airplanes and you give us money for another 100 and each of them will have your name written on them!No way we can affort 120 airplanes and most important of all we do not need 120 airplanes.Somehow i think you were sarcastic.

The best opinion for us would be leasing Gripens before we can afford to buy something for good.I hope the politics woulnt influence too much what airplane will be bought.
