Was A-12 ever finished? Are there any more pictures than the one above? Thanks!
So overall:
We ditch Mig-29s,leave just one in a museum next to Belgrade(you will get pictures from this museum i took last week in a few days when i scan them). We could sell them to some countries in Africa or something, who knows, but they are not worth much anyway.
We ditch Mig-21s,the airframes are too old!
Upgrade G-4 to G-4M2.
Upgrade Orao J-22 with stronger engines, radar and better missiles and bombs.
Get some new helicopters like Mi-24 but updated, suitable for night attack too.Upgrade from Russians or Israelis. Leave the Gazelles since they have prooved good for reconaissance and SAR but fit some better missiles like TOW on them.
Apart from An-26s that we have, get few second-hand hercules since if we enter partnership for peace or send the peacekeepers somewhere,we will need them.
No air interception fighters but really good anti aircraft missiles and radars.

HEre is one of Rafale’s cockpit and other interesting Rafale B pictures that i have found!Hope it helps…
I would like if we talk about croatian, slovenian and albanian air forces too but it seems no people from these countries ever made a thread about it,so no one started the discussion.
Concerning the number of Mig-21s and Oraos J-22 i read on our army’s website that we have 101 attack airplanes so lets say around 40-50 mig 21s and 30 oraos?I havent found any accurate numbers lately.
I wish we could get a f-16 with AMRAAM but they wouldnt give this missile to us or they would with some parts missing 😛
Mig-29 SMT would be really nice but i think we need some “translation” aircraft from this period till the time we can but something.
Out of all, leasing a Gripen would be the best idea!I love that airplane!
Yeah, i know. I am not a US suckup but i know that our goverment is,in a way they have to be. The US would give us some old F-16 block 20s but when i mentioned F-16s above i was thinking of some F-16s better than Block 20.F-16s with night attack capability, laser targeting pod and some laser quided weapons would be nice.
By the way,are russian laser guided bombs good? Can all their bombers carry them?
The thing is,we are supposed to get into Partnership for Peace and also NATO some day hopefully and we are in process of making our equipment NATO compatible.Would Mig-29 fit there?
For ground attack we can upgrade our Galeb G-4s to G-4M standrard but the fighter aviation is still a problem.5 Mig-29s are insufficient and the airframes are getting old.Getting the retired ones from Romania is a possibility but we have to look more westwards for better servicability, availability of parts…etc.
I love Russian aircraft but for my country they dont seem to be unfortenutely the best option anymore:(
