Its usually on the RIAT website but its very much a moving target usually, so the list is only a guide right up until the day before. I don’t think they put up display timings though. I won’t get my hopes up by going to look for the list until much later in the week.
There is going to be an enormous RAF flypast on the Friday though with about 90 aircraft

How will the Scottish nationalists spin this good or bad ?
Well today is signature day on board the Ark Royal so hopefully no more hitches.
Apologies if this has been posted before but the MOD seem to have put some new images on their website. The attached pdf is quite interesting as its a cutaway which you can zoom in on.

Another thing about this is that the CVF now seems to have stabilisers. I understood that only the French PA2 was to have these but they are on this image.
In about a months time its the large ‘Meet your Navy’ event in Portsmouth. I have got me ticket.:)
What I am hoping is that now that they are to press ahead with the CVF and that the industrial deals have been done, that there will be a really nice presentation about the CVF at the show along with some decent models of the final design.
Has anyone heard any rumours if there will be something CVF related at the show ? I mean they are going to build bits of them there. At the Trafalgar celebrations two years ago the type 45 build shed was open (and very interesting it was) so hopefully it will be this time as well.
Loking at some of the photos on the net it seems to have embedded itself in 2-3 metre high earth bank which may have contributed to the fuselage failure. Thankfully everyone came away from this one.
Amazing. The Second US designated aircraft completes its checks while the UK RAF versions remain very much a paper aircraft……………… 😡
Tucked away on MOD website. I thought it might be a headline story but it would appear not.

BAE press release effectively says yes we can start to build – I think

VT’s website says the same
Full announcement of decision to start the build should be later today – Finally after all these years 😎
You can walk all over the aerodrome area as the locals walk their dogs there daily. The main barracks which is in use by the army is fenced off and guarded. It is used for motorsport 3 or 4 times a year and the army play some of their field sports on it and use it for small exercises but that is about it.
As Debden is one of the last virtually intact WW2 fields in existance in near original condition including the runways its been the subject of several preservation orders recently which should ensure its long term preservation and remove development pressure, or thats what the locals tell me.
Its a shame but they recently ripped out several of the bomb shelters round the taxiways as their condition was apparently unsafe.
Yes, it does make you wonder what happened ? 😮
Surprisingly, Money has been found for various long term Military projects including the CVF’s according to todays Telegragh

Report in the Telegraph – Cold Fuel being considered
Not sure. Some might suggest that the AW149 has as much sales potential as the Flynx.
Its a couple of months since the last update regarding the incident. Has there been any news; either official, unofficial or anything in the Newspapers ?
