Yes.

The new colors looks VERY nice.
Three. This one, G-BWUE and G-AWHE (although this one hasn’t flown yet, but is getting there….)
Excellent news. I hope there’s a couple of Buchons at Duxford in September…. 🙂
(Stormbird and I have differing opinions on the nicer front end of a “Bf109” :p)
Actually four if you include EADS ‘Bf 109G-4’ / D-FWME (it was and it’s still a Buchón by definition but powered by a Daimler-Benz engine, no?).
Very nice pics Mark.
Is this aircraft the former Duxford based machine? What unit aircraft are the markings depicting Steve?
In the background of the fourth image of your link, can be seen another FW190. Which one is this and who owns it? What’s the schedule for this aircraft and what markings will it feature?
CIRCUS 6, from my previous post:
990002: Jerry Yagen / The Fighter Factory / Military Aviation Museum, Bremgarten, Germany • Under final assembly to fly with MeierMotors GbR. Last known civil registration: D-FWKC. To be based at Suffolk, VA, USA.
990009 (980554): private owner (ex-Tom Blair / Spitfire Ltd, Duxford, UK), Bremgarten, Germany • Under assembly to fly with MeierMotors GbR. Last known registration: G-FWAB.
Seem to remember reading somewhere that Flug Werk made 20 kits of the FW-190. Is there any list of where they all went? If that number is right there must be a lot of them in hiding or being rebuilt as we speak. Given that so few fly so far.

Here we go for the European based examples – corrections and remarks welcome.

She’ll fly in Germany.
The ones at the fighter factory are most likely going to remain ground-bound. One of their maintenance officers told me that they were pretty squirly to fly, and he didn’t think it was worth the risk. That’s not to say that they won’t change their minds of course.
Cheers,
Richard
Richard, thank you.
BTW, what happened to the Yak-3 which was damaged sometimes ago?
(Mark, sorry to hijack the thread!).
Depends which ones?
-I saw an I-16 flying at the CAF show in 2002
Fighter Factory ones i.e I-15, I-153 and I-16.
It looks like things are moving in the right direction with Gerald Yagen’s MiG-3.
1st flight in US should take place this coming spring.
There is even a photo taken this past Friday on ASB forum: http://www.asb.tv/forums/index.php?showtopic=7481&hl=
Does anyone knows if the Polikarpov fighters have flown in the US since their arrival?
Well, lets have the story then…..
Go to Google and type “Sebago Corsairs” and you’ll get a lot of hits.
For example: http://findarticles.com/p/news-articles/daily-mail-london-england-the/mi_8002/is_1999_June_17/british-fighters-lake-bed/ai_n36078970/?tag=rel.res1
ARAMAN – What has happened to the Ramon Josa Corsair that was at Legends 3-4 years ago? is it still grounded due to costs?
Also, whose Yak 3 is that?
The Corsair is for sale and still located at Avignon, south of France. AFAIK, she flew for the last time in 2007.
The Yak-3 is a new-build made by John Garric in Texas and repaired by Bruno Ducreux. She was damaged in a landing accident in 2003.
Is it still expected to be at the Albert show saturday? Only going there for the 190, so if it is cancelled, I dont have to drive a 800 km round trip.
BW Roger
Roger, the FW 190 and Spitfire are not coming!
Plus the first flight in the US in January makes three and its only April!
And it’s not finished… at least 2 more P-40’s will fly this year (Don Brooks & Ron Fagen’s P-40E).
1st engine runs Thursday.
