Hello Jonathan,
Both jbs and I really enjoyed PS890 @ LFA.
The propellor sound makes it is so distinctive compare to the other Spitfire in the airshow circuit.
A must see… :diablo:

S.E.5a reproductions / replicas
Great photos Alex – keep’em coming please ;)! Do you plan to make air-air photos of the Pfalz D.III?
BTW, do you have photos of the S.E.5a replicas under rebuild in Omaka?
Many thanks!
Ben
From Raybourne Thompson:
” It is getting close! It will probably be finished in a week. We are in the process of painting the stork. “
More photos to follow.

Stork / André Rose
Hi CC,
The FF squadron logo is based on photos taken of its sister ship. It made only 3 missions and its emblem was cut out from the wreck. Its in a French air musuem.
You can see a photo of the squadron logo here: One more flying Spitfire
The French pilot also provided his own color painting of the logo…
Correct – his name is André Rose (he is the last surviving french pilot who flew MK959 in 1944).

Hi Andy and Stieglitz,
I think the book cover is provisional – Peter Vacher’s book is due to be published in May 2005, so I’m sure they’ll change it.
