Afraid to say that we don’t hold any at the moment, the best option would be to speak to Steve Heappey at Iconic WW2 Aircraft who had our first built Bf109E-4 FSM.

Thanks gentleman for such quick replies. I knew this was the place to ask.
Why try and find out where the blade is now and the intentions of the owner.
Best wishes,
Martin
Thanks for that. Have emailed the school this morning, so hopefully they might be able to tell more about the aeroplane or at least give us the CCF unit number. Spoke to the gentlemen last night again in the village and they were all adamant that the aeroplane was in the school grounds.
Should be. I know our website is down as having a nice new one done as we speak. Just spoken to the designing team this afternoon. Perhaps best if send them to me. Will PM you my details and will check with the Secretary tomorrow. I know we say Dreckly down here, but that is no excuse for not answering emails. A thousand apologies.

Gerry,
We could always make her a Summer House and then you could have your Spitfire. When in the house, it was visible from nearly every window, so it might have to go around the back……

I’ve got to go over to WL795 at Newquay this weekend to sort through some APs and manuals (can see if from my office window) so will take my camera with me and see if can take some photos for you.

Someone gave me a complete run of Aeroplane from the 1st issue until about 2016. Will have a look through them when get home. Seem to remember the Gemini being on the front cover of one of them.

Thanks to everyone coming to my aid again…so much appreciated. Just had an enquiry to build a model with a number 4 on the side…… so thought would be best to check here. Hopefully in future correspondence, the enquirer’s finger slipped when they sent the initial email. Will let you know.
Thanks again.

Thanks to you all for your valued and quick assistance. Think I now have enough to go on. Also looking at Spitfire 1B R6762 coded PW_E which collided with a P-47 in the circuit at Eshott 12/04/1944.
Thanks for that. Never seen a Spitfire with letters and numbers before. Am looking at other 57OTU examples as well. Note that AR213 was ZJ_E and AR212 LV_N when at Hawarden.
Thanks so much, gives me an insight into the size and shape of the pen. Harrowbeer is only a few miles from me, can virtually see it from the other side of the Tamar, so will go and have a look, perhaps when it stops raining.
Someone else has very kindly sent me another illustration but this one shows two different sizes as opposed to the Harrowbeer examples. But then reading the webpage, it states that there were local variations. Presume that this may be the case with any airfield? The plot thickens….
Best wishes,
Martin

The film shows the Gladiator taking off from a hard runway so believe that has to be Brockworth? There is one hangar shot, but its difficult to see what is within.
