That’ll be Crecy (correction to help with searches) and if you like Pilot’s Notes, place your business with them, not Amazon, to perpetrate the breed. 😉
I second and thoroughly agree with JDK here. They are very very nice people at Crecy and they were very pleased to assist when I needed a number of Auster AOP.9 Pilot’s Notes recently.

If not, contact T6flyer on here – he’s down Eggesford a lot where they have two (I think) Auster AOP 6’s, including the very nice VX113 recently restored
Might be going up this weekend (have been TOO often recently and its only 2 weeks to G-VFWE so got to save my pennies), so can easily can some photos if required of VX113 which is the only stock 6 there. Others are Beagle Terrier conversions.

Wow….7 years…..doesnt seem that long ago.
I echo what everyone else has said here. I first met Norman when he was the pilot for my first Harvard flight (July 11th 1987 – G-CTKL – Dunkeswell) and then got to know him through HFT, The Squadron and then Intrepid Aviation.
A lovely person and one that will always be missed.
Thanks,
Martin
From what I can remember Brian Gladden built a Tiger for FS2002. As am not at home cant check, but PM me and can always send it on, if my memory is correct.
Best wishes,

Interesting to see that the Luton Duet has found a role in life…….
…..as a work bench! :diablo:
The Duet is in fact having its top decking recovered. The yellow sheet is just to protect it from the dust in the hangar.

Well here we go, a few snaps taken yesterday at Eggesford.

Thats up to the owner….but think there can only be one scheme and thats what its wearing now (well only the nose at the moment!).
Best wishes,

Been up to Eggeford today and can say that the wings have already been recovered and the fuselage has been stripped for the same treatment. Ailerons were being worked on (stitching) today by Auster rebuilder Richard Webber.
Will try and post some photos tomorrow, but be warned they are from my mobile, so might not be of the quality we normally see here.
Best wishes,
Martin
And here’s a few of British registered repaints. All are available from Avsim.

Hello all,
Well, I figured out what was wrong with my postings, as I have had to delete all the ones I’ve already uploaded so that I can show some more.
Here is a few screenshots of the recently released Alphasim T-6 package. Being somewhat fanatical about this aeroplane, I do have a few niggles about the look and flying characteristics of the recreation, but on the whole its the closest that we have at the moment to the real thing. (Believe 4 other developers are currently working away on other T-6 projects).
Best wishes,
Martin

Dear All,
I aplogise for my asumptions as to the CAA/Permit idea. No offence is ever meant.
As to the history of this particular Auster, thanks to everyone for their input. I never knew this aeroplane has ‘touched so many people’s hearts’.
In a way you always remember the first thing you flew in, (mine was a Cessna 150 G-BFLM – for which I have the left hand door at home – dont ask) or an aeroplane that you have an attachment with (me its Harvard Mk.IIB G-CTKL).
Best wishes,
Martin
