Nice shots there.
I love a good fly-in.Nice parking too Martin 😀
I have to admit to…not waving my arms around all day. After my little episode with my ticker the week before, I was and still am rather tired and although I did take all my bats and things with me, upon arrival, I just didnt feel up to it. Am now back at work, but still finding everything a little hard to do.
Arrived in style too in the back of the Broussard. The commentator stated that the aeroplane was the ‘Eggesford hack and carried all the spares and luggage’. Hope he wasnt referring to me then!! 🙂

T-6 Flyer did not like it because there were no Harvards/T-6s this year. At one stage I had him with his eyes closed during the Stearman display trying to pretend they were T-6s so he could get his fix!
I must admit to this………sad aren’t I?!
Nice photos as always.

Jolly interesting too Steve – Martin will surely be tempted to post a few- wont presume to bore you with some of ours!
TT
I have about 2000 period photos, but luck for most of you out there, I dont have a scanner!!

interesting lift off? why what happened??
It just seemed from where we were standing (right behind you) that on the roll you had a little bit of a tailwind and seemed to take ages before lift off, just going into the grass on the right of the strip. But then you were full of fuel and not knowing much about P-51s I suppose it was quite the norm when operating out of small strips.
Best wishes,
Martin
I’ll have a look to see what i have, didn’t take many though. Sorry to hear you were unwell
And I’m afraid that I didnt take a camera with me. You didnt really miss that much RobAnt was virtually the same as any other year, cept the Hurricane.
Nice to meet Yak11Fan (looked an interesting liftoff upon leaving). See you at Dunkeswell in two weeks time!
ChampMagic I knew took a lot of photos, I’ll ask him to see if he has some useable on here.
Best wishes and get well soon,
Martin
I’ve heard today and I dont know if this is true, that 2 of the Canberras will be going to Exeter after arriving at Kemble on Monday.

Very unusual indeed. Have seen the photo before and never been able to track down a why? or when?
In all my years of Harvards, I’ve never seen anything like it……… 🙂
Best wishes,
Martin
I’ve flown in a number of Canadian Norsemen and did take some photos to prove the occasions, so will have a little look through what I have (when I find them) and report back.

Having been home all weekend due to an eventful Friday night (enough said), I had a few hours to spare and so had a first go at using different textures and so after shouting at the screen (no patience see) managed to ‘change’ these Wings of Power bombers. Now that I’ve worked it all out, will try it next with the fighters.

I’ve got profiles of the J1. Will hunt them down and email off to you.

Might be worth something to a collector, depending on condition etc….
For sentimental sake, think might keep them. Pity as I threw out all my Battle and 2000AD comics and annuals.
Martin
Very nice pictures…….and thats from someone who’s never ever flown an airliner in FS2004. Makes mine look terrible!
Best wishes,

I remember old Johnny Red and more importantly Killer Kane as had Warlord every week. Was even a member of the spyclub thingie (Peter Flint etc etc?) within its pages and remember winning a prize once in one of the weekly competitions. Still have all my Warlord Annuals. Wonder if they are worth keeping?
