Martin at heratage models has told me the brass and white metal parts from his resin kit will be available as aftermarket accesories for this kit too.
Greg
got to admit that i have never been to an airshow i would call bad but the saddest has to be Binbrooks last lightning show. and the weather summed up most of the (aviation enthusiast) crowds feelings.
Greg

Hi Folks, from what i remember the Cosford Vulcan B1 was going to cost in the order of £1 million to restore, this was the last intact B1 and it was in no way as bad a condition as this airframe is, and that was in 80’s money, probably would work out about another £150 to £200 thousands now. is anyone going to put this sort of money into this aircraft?, i think not. some well meaning or just plain stupid people may bid on this but to restore it, or even just the cockpit section, would be a major undertaking. sad to say that in this case things have just gone too far for any sort of rescue for this now forlorn airframe, i will hopefully make a trip to blackpool to see and photograph this aircraft for the last time before she is scrapped, which is the inevitable end for this once mighty vulcan.
Greg
Hazelnut tree, how the heck did that work, thats me alright!!!
Greg
Ok people, at the risk of appearing to be a killjoy but having to be seen to be doing something before the complaints come it…
