I don’t build many models these days (although I did just do an Airfix Spit IX in less than a day, and did a pretty good job of it, if I do say so myself!!), but it seems worth a look.

I’d be too afraid to put any of my models up, as I doubt they’re up to snuff!

you havn’t seeen pics of mine, i’m not all that good at models but i try my best and thats what counts.
currently on the bench are 2 chipmunks (1 BoBMF and ! civil ) a tiger moth and the RAF Church Fenton gate guard Spitfire MK5c.

heres a pic of a Saab viggen i did years ago, the camo done by hand and id was a real pain.

Tend to see me dinner again on the dak, even bbmf veterans like fluffy love to blow chunks on the dak. FLYING SICK BAG

the only aircraft ever to do that to me is the dear old chipmunk, on saying that though i almost chucked it after some austrian beer then flying in rough turbulance in a cesspit 172 in Slovinia 😮 (wasn’t drunk though, just had beer on an empty stomach 😮 and didn’t have paws on the controls so the beer was allowed 🙂 )

A man runs into the vet’s office carrying his dog, screaming for help. The vet rushes him back to an examination room and has him put his dog on the examination table.

The vet examines the still, limp body and after a few moments, tells the man that his dog, regrettably, is dead. The man, clearly agitated and not willing to accept this, demands a second opinion.

The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat and puts the cat down next to the dog’s body. The cat sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, poking and sniffing the dog’s body and finally looks at the vet and meows. The vet looks at the man and says, “I’m sorry, but the cat thinks that your dog is dead, too.”

The man is still unwilling to accept that his dog is dead. So the vet brings in a black lab, the lab sniffs the body, walks from head to tail, and finally looks at the vet and barks. The vet looks at the man and says, “I’m sorry, but the lab thinks your dog is dead too.”

The man, finally resigned to the diagnosis, thanks the vet and asks how much he owes. The vet answers, “£650.” “£650 to tell me my dog is dead?” exclaims the man.

“Well,” the vet replies, “I would only have charged you £50 for my initial diagnosis. The additional £600 was for the cat scan and lab tests.”

    OI who’s pinched me coat!!!!

not a bad day all told, have finished work, have got a replacement window for the car and fitted it (a slight misshap on the A1, a large stone was thrown up by a truck and it went streight through the drivers door window, if i’d have been constipated that would have cured it straight away 😮 ), have done a couple of other jobs on the car too and am sat here eating some nice smoked haddock with chips (french fries ) and a side salad, and have a large mug of tea to wash it all down with. so…..

LIFE IS GOOD, so please don’t waste it, 🙂

    all the best.
