The Tornado at RIAT, Hunter and P-51, and shot with the Moon at Duxford stand out to me. All great shots though, thanks for sharing. 🙂
I am put off when you mention that Guy Ritchie will be Directing, but it might be ok when made. POC had some of the best pilots filming the flying scenes which was a big part of the series for me it made it all more realistic (compared to CGI these days which is often over used).
Exquisite!🙂
My older brother use to have a 1/48 Me109 and same make I think, and it looked beautiful all painted and completed.
Beautiful captures! Great colours, detail and action shots. Tiger Tornado looks fantastic! Excellent work, thanks for sharing, and have a wonderful Christmas. 🙂
I was given some models by my older brother, including a B-17, Victor Bomber, and some others. The first model i built myself was a 1-48 scale Hawker Hunter. Not sure how young i was at the time, but my brother had this beautiful big model of an Me109.
Good point about costs for display. I know some of the prices of some of the aircraft with booking for a display which are a lot more than booking the BBMF Lanc. But with the heavy schedule the BBMF have, which is increasing each year, I know ‘Just Jane’ will also get bookings. With the taxi rides and some fund raising it will come together and I for one am looking forward to it.
Kenley is just half hour from me so all being well it’s on my list for 2013.
Kermit’s AT-6D is a beautiful aircraft. The back seat turning for tail gunner training is cool, and as said makes for some great air to air photos. Thanks for posting.
Agreed, the team have done a great job of painting XL231 and deserve credit for braving the weather working hard and keeping us all updated…

Beautiful shots of beautiful aircraft!
Thanks for sharing Daniel.
From here in cold old UK to sunny Australia, have a wonderful Christmas and 2013!
Spitfire gets my vote!

The BBMF Lancaster has a very heavy and growing schedule (year by year). I am sure that with ‘Just Jane’ flying, it will help ease the demand and Flying Legends may well have both flying together hopefully.
