RE: Forum Upgrade
The forum looks really nice! Good work!
RE: So is this finall??
Good choice
RE: A380
I don’t know what the seating will be but it will be a nightmare indeed, sitting somewhere in the center for 12+ hours enjoying the extra nice economy class cabin service.
I’d like to see what it looks like, for example in the bar, if the plane hits an airpocket…
RE: American Airlines ( as in IN the US )
The large airlines are probably more affected by things like soaring fuel prices and US economy. If the airlines has to raise ticket prices it will affect on much large amount of passengers, even worldwide. If these small operators do the right thing(which I don’t know what it is), they will be able to offer the same service to their passengers even through bad times.
Probably the most vulnerable airlines are the start-ups which haven’t had the time to get enough capital.
RE: I know this can sound stupid but I think it will be quiet efective.
That doesn’t sound stupid at all, GREAT IDEA!
I’d like to be member of such ‘club’.
RE: why 380?
I have heard the following theory about the name:
number 8 is considered lucky number in the east and Airbus has customers in east and the market in the is also suitable for A3XX.
I don’t know about this. Maybe maybe not.
RE: A380
Air France, Emirates, International Lease Finance Corporation, Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic have ordered A380 so far.
RE: A380
When will the airlines start to sell tickets to A380 flights?
About the plane in the garden – it would look COOL!!!
RE: thanks for the 1.0 rating
Wow! Just great site, lots of links to aviation related sites. I think I’ll be visiting that quite often.
RE: I love British Airways-Dont You Love British Airways?
Perhaps BA is a good example of airline which really thinks how to make those couple of million people happy who want to travel instead of getting bad back and angry looking faces. Maybe it is not the money that makes you happy.
RE: Singaporean Jumbo crashes in Taiwan
Not very bright future for the captain.
RE: Embraer, Avro, Bombardier and Dornier-Boring future?
I think Bombardier did wisely when they re-considered their entry to the 100+ seat market. Embraer’s and Dornier’s coming models are too close to each other and when you add the Alliance aircraft… what is the difference? Indeed, the future is going to be boring.
RE: B767-400. WHY???
Maybe the 767-400 is what the big customers wanted (Delta&Continental)? They probably don’t need as big plane as the 777 for some of their popular US internal routes, to Hawaii for example. Who knows…
RE: A330 vs B777
I think that the A330 (-300) is better. Only thing where 777 is better is range. By the the way, who will be the first 777-300 operator in Europe?!
RE: Concorde sibling
Projects like Concorde will also have a special place in governments and companies bank accounts. I think european companies should concentrate on the A3XX -project and finish it before any new project.
