RE: Is it a 747SP???
Yes, it is 747-200B model, VC-25A. In Air International, november 1999 issue there is “Fit for a King” article, it also includes cutaway drawing of Air Force One.
RE: Is it a 747SP???
Hi Kabir,
I think it is 747-200 model. Couple of years ago there was an article about Air Force One in the Air international.(Wasn’t there?)
RE: Alliances
I think SA is getting too big. Isn’t there even some competitors as a member? I like more those alliances where is not so many members.
RE: Frontier tail designs
Frontier has really nice looking tail design, it is clear and you can say what it is. (Impossible in case of BA)
RE: Are airports ready for the 3XX?
It will be some problems at some airports. A3XX will be heavy plane and possibly it needs lot of space around it. What about those two story gates? It will take some time to take all out from just one floor at time. I think some airports are not ready, especially those airports with lot of traffic. Anyway, I’d like to see the airplane flying before making any major decisions to build or not to build something new for the A3XX.
RE: Continental Airlines B767
OOPS!
Sorry. But I did not know there is both -400 and 400ER. Is there big differences in range?
RE: Continental Airlines B767
Go to http://www.continental.com/corporate and select the fleet and there is comlete listing of aircraft being used by Continental. The 767-400, I think it is not yet put into service. United will probably be the first to use the new model.

RE: is there a A-318??
Yes, there will be A318. What a suprise, smaller than 319. B717 probably being nearest competitor.
RE: Boeing 777
I think folding wings are an option but none of the 777 customers haven’t wanted it. Maybe there is enough room at the gates after all…
RE: australian aviation
I don’t know how well Quantas does the job in the domestic area but I think that the competition they will face from Virgin and Impulse will make them think things. After all, part of the competition is coming from Europe.(?!)
RE: First A3XX??
What about Virgin or Air France?
RE: Triple sevens
HEY,
Was it really Britannia? I have my doubts about it.
RE: A330
HEY!
I don’t have any pics to send to you but have you tried http://www.avhome.com ? You might find some via that.
