Correct me if I’m wrong but Belgium started WW II with Gladiators AND CR42’s. Of course 18 days later nearly nothing was left of these aircraft. But they participated in some aircombat (I believe with some succes). And I also believe Italy sent some CR42 to Belgium during the Battle Of Britain (or just after it, they were based in Maldegem or something).
