PS. The parking of Cessnas etc. was quite decent on todays show. It seemed they were placed much more to the left than normal, which was quite good from a photography point of view 🙂 Thanks for that, guys!
Is was fantastic….apart from a slight problem at the end (see my other thread) Too tired to post any pics!
I second that – completely! 🙂
PS. Why did the Demon not fly as part of the show? I love that kite! I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it while walking back to the car.
Yea that was a little scare there. Those fire engine drivers were darn quick though! And good for that too, as the damage could’ve been much worse without them.
I hope Classic Wings will get it all sorted again soon.
There are lots of resources, really, especially online. For example, this Ebay shops sells loads of aero engine manuals on CD. Awesome stuff! Have a look:

Hehehe, cloning and heal brushes in Photoshop make easy work of that stuff indeed! 😀
I’m a professional computer artist so I’m no stranger to photo manipulation. But that’s not how I like to achieve my photos! They’re real. If I want to ‘fake’ stuff, I do 3D artwork for that sort of things, and funnily enough I’ll be starting a 3D model of a Corsair later this month. So eventually I’ll not only replace the Cessnas, I’ll replace the entire picture and come up with something (hopefully) better. I already got a 3D Mustang, so I am planning on a dogfight between a Honduras Corsair and an El Salvador Mustang during the 1969 Football War. Should be cool and rather… different! 😀
Want Ju 86 stuff? I’ve got a good 6 megabytes of manual drawings and stuff for you right here.

Enjoy! 😀
Unless things have changed again, it’s F-AZJS (PS890) based at Dijon-Darois. Don’t know the owner’s name…

Hey, you have to wait till tomorrow like the rest of us! :p
Good to see the contra-prop Spitfire made it. It’s just awesome! 😀
The SAAB is cool too, as is that scaringly close(!) formation flying of the Mustangs.
Thanks!
Usually the question is not “if” there’s going to be a Corsair, but “how many” 😉
There’s at least one this year – I assume it’s the one from the Fighter Collection:

Speaking of the Fighter Collection. Somebody should give their webmaster a kick under the tailsection, cause they’re still advertising Flying Legends 2004, using the 2003 poster!!! :p
No problem Lynn! 🙂
Scooter/Taylorman, Corsairs are awesome indeed. I’ll be making a 3D model of one next month.
This pic was from Flying Legends last year… I hope to do it better next year (if only they’d remove the darn Cessnas etc. from that lovely backdrop!!!)

Please do that, sounds cool 😀
I saw a Hungarian MiG-21 display in Holland the same year. But I didn’t go to the (R)IAT then
Very nice!
Haven’t seen any MiGs for awhile myself… missing the ’90s 🙂
Corsairs? Where?
And could you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE grab some of the TBDs?
Please? 🙂
Here you go Lynn! 😎

If it ain’t Dutch, it ain’t much 😀
