Didn’t he do a helicopter (R-22?) and car (AC Cobra replica) “…is born” series as well at some point in the distant past?

I think hes done an E-type ,a harley, a triumph and a trike also , very interesting viewing 🙂

I think yo dont have the look you are after is because the fuselage is in shade !

to shoot in aperture priority select A then use the command dial to set the desired f number & the camera will automatically select the shutter speed .

set it to S and you set the shutter speed via the command dialand the camera sets the aperture.

in M manual you select both the ss and aperture , in this mode the command dial works the ss and to set the aperture you press and hold the exposure compensation button and use the command dial.

    there is an overview of functions here;

For a small fee, I could help with a superior photographic position.

Actually no, I meant a large fee. A very large fee indeed.

    Johne Boy –

Have a look at a Hurricane u/c, then have a look at the Buchon’s…. the latter is a real handful in crosswind conditions and RAC are very careful with theirs – she will not fly if conditions are not acceptable, its that simple…..

Hopefully it wont be too windy at Sywell!

    TT

twas only a light hearted jest ! these things happen , I honestly dont expect to see every old bird thats listed make it. Funny thing was I would have driven back up on the sunday but my exhaust broke in the parking fields at cosby 🙁

anyhoo back to Sywell !!! hopefully i shal see it there , do you now if its a solo or will it do a bit of a tailchase as it did with Mh434 last w/end 😀

It turned up on the sunday but not the saturday – I was at the show on saturday and think I saw it fly over Brunty on sunday. Didn’t turn up on the saturday because of crosswinds at Sywell apparently, although according to someone that was there it was really calm

 crosswinds ?? the hurri XII made it :p

The chappie in the first shot bears an uncanny resemblence to Lieut. William Leefe-Robinson V.C. 😀

Sorry, I misread your post, and the pic loaded and then vanished on my browser. If that’s not IPA 1 it’s probably not a test camera. Isn’t that where the anti-coll light is on production Typhoons?

No I just looked at some more pics the camera under the red cover is on the Typhoon before this one , what is anti – coll ?
This is a shot of the first one , with the triangle and you can see right next to it the small rectangle .
    regards
