(possibly) 15,600 job cuts at JAL
😮
Blimey
BBC London News just reported that flights are suspended at LGW & LTN.
Sometimes it’s hard to remember why this is a “developed” country.
The PAF F-7PG looks very “clean”, especially in comparison to the F-16 block 60? with the CFTs & all the various protuberances.
Ah, the good old days….. 😉
Sounds serious. Initially reported as a just a “firecracker”, now an explosive device:

I doubt any conventional strike by JASDF will achieve any strategic gain or be cost-effective militarily.
JASDF is of course primarily defensive in outlook, equipment, training, etc.
But maybe Japan has some secret unconventional weapons up its sleeve.
A few hundred strategically placed ninjas might do the trick 😀

Thanks vikasrehman.
Very interesting link. I knew there would be an answer on this forum, even if it via an external link 😀
Cheers.
Cheers for the above advice! 🙂
It’s a difficult time to be asking for US$143 million aircraft!
What’s the minimum production rate that is economically viable to keep the production line open?
Conversely, if LM shuts down production as the order run is fulfilled, but doesn’t dismantle it, how long would it take to reopen the production line?
Strategic transport/tankers & ground strike/CAS seems rather more important in the foreseeable future.

Can you imagine stealth vs. stealth on a moonless night? 😀

Is this really modern military aviation?
I was thinking the same thing.
Historic aviation forum is probably more appropriate, don’t you think?
