If it brings historic avaition to the masses, it can only be a good thing. At least they are not using CGI.

And it looks as if it has a drip tray from TFC’s hangar 😡
Incidentally, will the TFC enclosure be there so I can take advantage of my pass.
Only available at Legends, but we’re always glad to say hello to Friends when they pass through the hangar. TFC Merchandise is on sale in the hangar before the flying starts.
The enclosure can be used by guests of members provided they are encouraged to buy some merchandise, or join at the reduced rate of £10 on the day. This is a real bargain and your brother won’t have to pay to get on the flight line walk. For an extra £5 you could upgrade to family membership.
If your brother doesn’t do any of the above we mark him with hi viz paint so that everyone will see he didn’t.:D
Basically, he can come in with you.
Latest lineup and some video now on TFC website
Provisional list now on TFC website
Please explain this, you failed to explain in your last post.
Why will the P-40 be a challenge??
If you can’t answer it on this forum, pop into duxford on wednesday and explain it to the guy who put it together in the USA.
He’ll be there with the rest of us,maybe you can explain what you mean then?
Could I get some pictures for the web site when this takes place.
[QUOTE=It will be great to see the fabled Steve Hinton flying at Legends too, has he ever flown/been there before?
Steve Hinton has been a regular participant in most previous Legends shows.
While a thread is running on FoTFC,I thought I’d ask if there is any news or chance of a friends hangar evening this year.It was in March last year so I thought I would ask the question as its getting dangerously close to the 2007display season.

There is always a chance that there will be an Evening with TFC, but not before Legends. Keep an eye on the website.

Again, thanks for the suggestions, we are certainly considering direct debits and more interactive communications. We did ask Friends via the website if they wished to receive a pdf version of Fighter Log….we only had one reply and that was a yes. So reminders by e mail may not be the complete answer. BTW we just updated the Hangar News on the web site…worth a look!!
Thanks for the feedback, reminders are sent out ,however it appears we have missed some of you in the past. There are a number of improvements in our admin in the planning, so please be patient with us for a while. As numbers grow problems can occur and as a volunteer organisation, resources can occasionally be limited.
The Royal Mail hasn’t helped by charging mail by size, Fighter Log postage costs drastically increased and we are reluctant to increase membership costs to compensate. Hence the need to make sure we remind Friends to rejoin and also gain new Friends.
The Friends enclosure at Legends is for use by the Friends at no extra charge.
You are normally reminded when your membership expires.
If you have a family membership but your membership number doesn’t have an F after it, then this is probably an admin error which can easily be corrected.
There was an all red Chippie at Old Buckenham yesterday lunchtime, (WP903/G-BCGC I think), which left at some time around 1.30pm – could it have been that one? Old Buck was heaving too. By 2.00pm, there had been over 50 visitors.
I have had the pleasure of flying G-BCGC which is indeed all red and was once used by Prince Charles. Currently based at the excellent Henlow Flying Club.
If you visit TFC website you can actually enter a ‘Will it be at Legends’ competition and win a special prize.
