The Chinese Engineers really love the canards don’t they. It’s about damn time this picture came out. Only been speculated about for what? 10 years now.

F-22, Su T50, J-20…come on Western Europe. The Americans, Russians and Chinese showed you theirs, it’s time you showed yours.

Still hanging on to empire I see. Is war really worth fighting over for an oil company?

Question: What makes a claim that the Rafale had 6 WVR engagement and only lost 1, more credible a claim that in 2 WRV engagement and lost both times?

On a side note, how is the Captain of the USS Vincennes doing these days?

All criminal actions should be punished.

Sorry, but those statements lead me to believe you have no idea of the concept of justice.

Well I guess that would put me in the same boat as Kenny MacAskill.

And that is the simple truth of the matter, he’s about to die and they’ve sent him home to do so. We can all continue to argue the toss long after his (imminent) demise.

I can argue about the families not getting that chance but that’s been done to death.

The word punishment has a negative tone to it. When people think of that word, they think of pain, misery, and sometimes cruelty. And it is meant to be that way. Punishment is metered out to those whom society has deemed punishable. Now this guy was convicted of murdering 270 people. And people decided to punish him. The problem is that one man decided to change the term of punishment. So one man overules what society has deemed. I don’t find that justifiable.

Cancer has a strange way of going into remission when you least expect it. What will MacAskill’s explanation be to the families of Pan Am Flight 103 be in the off chance that this happens?

Surely, if the American Government truly respect the Laws of other Countries, then they should realise that the vilification of the Scottish Parliament and justice system says far more about America than it does Scotland.

Sorry, I had to chime in when I saw this quote. So Scotland is the victim in all this? Did you really think the Scottish “justice” system was going to get a pat on the back for this? This guy was let go not because he won an appeal, or was found not guilty. He was let go because his testicles were going to fall off in a Scottish Prison, and the Scottish Parliament didn’t want to be responsible.

For me the answer is simple, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Whether he was guilty or not, he was still found guilty by the Scottish Justice system. So one guy decides to undo all the work of the people who took 2 decades to bring this to trial. Sorry that’s not justice.

I usually never post about politics because quite frankly it bores me, but…..

The right to bear arms has less to do with love guns as it has to do with protecting citizens against government. Our forefathers had the foresight to understand that big government could mean living under a complete police state. So the constitution was written so that a police state could never happen here in the US. The US will never be North Korea because our citizens have the constitutional right to defend themselves and prevent that from ever happening.

Our bill of rights should be defended vigorously, not chipped away until it is barely recognizable.

You know, I am starting scare myself about how obsessive I am about this story…but here goes.

Cho Seung Hui scribbled some words in red ink on his forearm: Ismail Ax

This is obviously an Anagram, but I can’t seem to make any of the combinations work:

    Ismail Ax:

    I Am Silax
    I Am Axils
    I Am Axlis
    I Am A Six L
    I Am LA Six

Come on guys help me out. What is this Anagram that murderer was trying to say?
