Why don’t we wait until we see more pictures of the two-seater so we can make a judgement?

I believe Hui Tong came onto this forum and posted that the 2-seater took its intial flight on 12/23/03. So there are better pictures coming.

I love that forum. I stole this signature from one of the member, I think I’m going to keep it.

FC-1/JF-17 looks really nice. I love all the clear pictures of it.

Now I’m confused. What in the bloody blue hell are you talking about Matt? The picture in that article is of China’s XXJ project. Pinkov is calling that China’s Fourth Generation fighter project. The J-10 part is just confirming rumors that China is going with the indigenous 1473 radar instead of an Isreali or Russian one.

You wouldn’t happen to be Indian would you Matt?

Interesting. So Kanwa confirms the J-10A will get the 1473 radar.

As far as the technological gap, while I agree that China as progress quite nicely alongside their economy. This article sounds like another Andrei Pinkov specialty. Like the US, Russia wants an excuse to spend more on their military.

We’ll see about who’s Next Generation fighter is better the other when we can actually see it in production.
