if you mean tropical conditions where temperature and humidity is much higher than the cool climes of Scandanavia, then I’m quite sure the Gripen has been tested. the Thais are going to get them as well so they must’ve looked at performance data in tropical conditions. As for the T-50, I don’t know if its tested outside of South Korea.

Any idea what were the results of Thai testing? Without is we cannot find out why ge-404 is good for Grippn and bad for LCA.

No, they marked notes in Hebrew on J-10 Technical drawing for Chinese to decipher. I think they were playing puzzle to confuse the Russians:diablo:

Wow! you are smart! How did you come to know about it? 😎

So why does it suffer from the lack of thrust, when its meant to be smaller and lighter than T-50 and Gripen? What does Tejas has that the others two dod not?

Have T-50 and Grippen tested under Indian conditions?

MKM has Indian content to some extent. It will be wise for India to take them back and let Chinese content move in. Otherwise, there should be no issues.

BAE Systems starts manufacture of the first F-35 Lightning II production aircraft

BAE Systems has cut metal on its first component for the F-35 Lightning II production aircraft. This opening cut, on a component part of the aft fuselage, signifies a major milestone for the F-35 Lightning II programme.

The metal cut is for the first production F-35 Lightning II aircraft which will enter into service with the US Air Force (USAF) in 2010 and follows the production contract announcement made in December last year. The contract – a Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) contract – is worth £25m to BAE Systems and will see the production of two conventional take off and landing variants.

    F136 high-altitude tests completed

The GE Rolls-Royce Fighter Engine Team has successfully completed a high-altitude afterburner testing program at the US Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Center in Tennessee, including common exhaust hardware for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft.

You decide. Thi is the article in question

    http://frontierindia.net/indian-c-130j-contract-off

Its been reliably learnt that C-130J Hercules contract could not be concluded because of high price.

Its not clear if US is expected to come back with a revised offer.

Nowhere they claimed that the Deal was “Cancelled”

    Other things they said was

In addition, it has been found that there is an agent or a middle man in the deal.

This is the greay area in the whole article. Can be true or false.

Its indicated that the cost of development of the J version has been put on India and so the Price is more than what it would be if it was purchased through negotiations.

This is also unvarifiable. Can be true or false.

But it never clamed that it was canceled.

    You judge.

Does Cabinet Committe on Secirity means definit purchase?

    Trishul SAM project closed

Trishul SAM project has been successfully closed with Indian Air Force receiving an undisclosed number of units.

The Trishul is a short-range, quick-reaction Surface-to-air missile. It is designed to counter low-level targets (including aircraft and missiles) at ranges upto 9 km. Operating in K-band (20-40 GHz), with tri-band guidance, it is highly resistant to countermeasures. The Trishul weighs 130 kg, is 3.1 m long and possesses a 5.5 kg High-explosive warhead to destroy the target.

The Qualitative Requirements of Trishul for the three Services have gone through substantial change which has lead to entirely different class of short range surface to air missile system. Having put in maximum effort to realize the Air Froce version, Air Force has inducted the missile in small quantity to meet their partial requirement of such class of surface to air missile systems.
