    Hi guys
If any of the DUB lads are around, and fancy a meet up,there is a few of us from Glasgow coming over for the day on Tues. June 5th, courtesy of Ryanair and their current 1p fare deal (I booked for 3 of us and got my card debited the princely sum of 6p!!thats PENCE!!:D )
Anyone else fancies coming along welcome (but, best be quick booking).

Shame, I booked PIK-DUB-PIK for June 7th a few days ago.

I wouldn’t have thought so mate. Flyglobespan have got allot of problems and not enough aircraft to cover there routes. IMHO i think it would be wise for them to get all their long haul aircraft back operating for them and try and sort out the mess that has been their long haul services.

I don’t quite understand your reply in relation to my post 🙂

Not quite correct. G-CEFG went on short term lease to Air India to cover routine maintenance to G-CDPT. It was always planned for the a/c to return to the UK prior to entering into a longer term AI lease period. However, place your bets as to whether G-CEFG or the second Neos B767 undertakes the AI lease.

Acquisition of a third GSM B767 is not now going to take place in the foreseeable future.

I thought CDPT suffered some kind of failure which resulted in it being stuck at LHR and thats why CEFG went to AI?

Indeed. CEFG had already been with AI but I presume it came back to help the chaotic situation at GSM. Now that the NEOS 767 is here they can release CEFG back to AI.

    Great shots.

The MON was operating from FUE. It will be doing FUE and ALC all summer from GLA.

I presume you are quite near the train station in Johnstone Jamie? Was working there the other day and got some similar views of the aircraft.

    Great shots.

I really should apply. But engineering is not really what I what to do. Although the stupid part is I’ve already done my NC and HNC in aeronautical engineering and i’m a month away from finishing my HND. So hmmm….lol. Thanks for the heads up.

FCA (First Choice) operate the A321 from East Midlands to Florida…

I’ve seen them when I was flying with easyJet and I’ve talked to the guy who’s done this flight:)

And how many stops did it make enroute?

Ya I know I shouldn’t have stayed up late but it’s “24” night in college so I wasn’t going to get to sleep till late anyway.

The aptitude test went well. My maths was awful, but I haven’t done any maths since I left school 4 years ago (it’s amazing how fast you forget!).
It was also not what I was expecting. It focused on hand eye co-ordination. Whereas I thought it would be verbal reasoning and psychometric testing.

Cheers Deano I appreciate the offer but thankfully it all went well.

So what school was it? Surely no reason to keep it secret. I went through CTC’s aptitude test and passed, my brain was frazzled after it right enough !!

Nice shots there Gary i like that 1st PIA One

BTW where they took from gate 14 the last time i was there there was a big earth mound obstructing the view

    Regards

    Peter

Cheers guys. I’m using another computer for editing just now and when I use this comp to view the shots they look totally different (i.e. worse), so hopefully they look ok at your end.

Yeh gate 14 Peter, I’m struggling to remember a mound there this evening. If there was one it was insignificant.

Stunning quality Kevin. Not sure I’d like to part with £1000 or so on a new camera, but when you see that quality, well it becomes very tempting!

It operated GLA-BCN-GLA today. So it must have gone to NCL in the early evening.
