any one able to tell me what this is?
Must agree with RobAnt it was an excellent day, thanks to Yak 11 Fan for posting some thing earlier in the week else I’d have missed this.

There will be a variety of aircraft venturing up to Breighton from the south on Saturday and staying overnight, likely to be 2 Mustangs, 2 Harvards and a 172, possibly a Yak 11 as well. The fleet will then be off to Devon on the Sunday, what the timing of this little lot is I don’t know currently. This is all weather dependant of course.
where in Devon Yak 11 Fan? and is it public?
Nick
Oops my bad, the Hurricane was at Filton. However didnt G-PSST display at Brize?
Cracking photos of the Tristar.
yes she did but my friends grumpy children forced an early departure from the event as she was displaying (again a new experience leaving an event before the finish)
Nice pictures newboy. Did you get any of the Tristar? as my best mate was flying it.
Cheers
Mixed in here there are a couple of the Tristar darrenharbar

Nice shots Nick
Have you got any of the Hunter and the Hurricane?
it was great to meet you at Kemble the other week, hope you didnt get too wet.
Like wise Nick but Hunter & Hurricane? what time where they come through? being invited by a friend and his family also meant I missed anything upto the Vampire as the kids took a while to get ready( a new experince to me being children free).
I was lucky enough to be given a chance to get aboard on Monday, here are a few images from the day.

WOW I did not expect so many replies in such a short time, and as for hogging the thread I asked the question and you guys are giving answers no problem. As for posting the Furious photos I’ll ask my uncle for scans to post for you.
Thanks for ID.
Nick
forgot to mention that a second photograph dated at the same time is of HMS Furious if that helps anyone.
Thanks

I thought that too but then it only there for the divers and I guess a hull torn apart by high explosives would not make the safest diving environment.
I live in plymouth and that’s where I took the photo but no one was around to ask where they trawled it up.
Don’t they have 3 nose cones at Donna Nook as the line up marker for the range?
