I didn’t realise the Me 262 was designed as a tail dragger until I saw a documentery on the history channel the other month , I thought it was always a tri-cycle , but there was some top quality footage from the very first test flights in front of luftwaffe brass .

If it isn’t , which book is it from , the style sounds the same.

Heard a strange sounding engine yesterday , Thursday afternoon , or was it Wednesday , I don’t remember for sure , fuzzy head and nightshifts confusing me , looked out of bedroom window and saw old bedstead with castors for undercarraige heading for OW , dodging rain showers , only ever see the copper chopper over B’wade normally , or was I dreaming !!!:confused:
